    Thanks for taking the time to make the vid and the tour. We are thinking of getting one as they are so clever. Does your bed ever get wet on a wet pack up ? Is it hard to collapse back down? Liked your commentary and ideas for the storage well done think we will take the plunge

    • @shaddonaghue
      @shaddonaghue  2 года назад +2

      Thanks for watching, a few tricks to a wet pack , we carry a cheap blue tarp and just cover the mattress and there is a spot where the water runs in when packing in the rain and I throw a beach towel there as well, its easy to pack up , we both help that makes it easier. Be aware ours is 10 years old and the new ones are even better. If you get a brand new one they shut with automatically.

      Thanks mate, that’s what I thought at first as well, but it adds a lot of weight , look at those campers that have an outdoor and inside kitchen and they weigh alot more. With the new models there is an outdoor kitchen option but i like it as it is now, we use the back of the car and the firepit mainly for cooking and the inside option is good for bad weather or lazy mornings 🤠👍👍

    Hey Shad, am I mad for thinking a family of 4 with 2 kids under 4 will survive in an ulti? The kids are too young to sleep on their own in the kids tent below. Do you think we can sleep 3 on the main bed and 1 on the lounge? Will it be too cluttered? Cheers mate

    • @shaddonaghue
      @shaddonaghue  Год назад +1

      You can definitely sleep like that , we used too and depending on how your kids are you could possibly sleep all 4 on the bed. It definitely can become a bit cluttered but organisation is the key , for longer stays like more than one night you could set up the room underneath and have clothes bag and stuff like that in there or the kids can play in there during the day. You can definitely make it happen if you want too.

    • @shaddonaghue
      @shaddonaghue  3 года назад

    Interested to know what a realistic setup time is for this? I’ve been looking for a new camper for 3 years and can’t find exactly what I want, these come close but they look like hard work to set up & pack up which is the only reason I haven’t bought one yet

    • @shaddonaghue
      @shaddonaghue  3 года назад

      Hi mate, just timed the setup here today, after we unhooked i set the timer , so we leveled up and set up in 9 minutes, but that is both us us working together and we have been doing it for 9 years almost, thats bed made and everything just not camp accessories like chairs and tables and fire pits etc. hope this makes sense
      Pack up may be a little longer, I found once i got the knack of leveling up its a lot easier, I always set my drivers side wheel slightly higher
