  • I met up with Steve, owner of Marlin Campers in Gosford NSW, he showed me around his operation and gave me a close look at these great light weight camper trailers.
His trailers won Camper Trailer of the Year 2020 and are a credit to him and his team.
Id like to thank Steve for taking tome out of his busy day to give me a look at this top Aussie product.
    Thanks for watching.

Great clip Steve. I'm amazed at how quick that was to set up. My old GIC took me at least an hour to set up. In the sun that wasn't fun.

I nearly went mad looking at all the different brands until I came upon your video. After a fair bit of research (RUclips), I spoke to Michael yesterday and ordered an “Escape”. I need quick set up’s for 1 to 2 night stays and don’t want to upgrade suspension on my vehicle. This is everything I need. Just waiting to have it built.

Great to see an Aussie company doing well. Lots of great ideas here. Wont be long Im sure and we will see that insulated roof in all the rest of the camper trailers. Good job on the video.

Great video mate, love the ease of the tent, got an old soft floor camper thats a lot more tricky to set up than that. Might have a look at their tents!

Great video as always steve. Gotta love an Aussie company trying their best out there. This trailer is really appealing especially the setup time. May have to add them to the list of potential candidates for when i need a new camper soon. My current trailer is probably older than me and is starting to rust in a few spots that will mean ill have to either fix it or get a new one. After seeing this I'm honestly compelled to get a new one. Super small and lightweight its exactly what I need. Cheers for the good video - Ryan

I was truly impressed by how quick they are, especially for a soft floor. Id contemplate one myself if I wasn't after a caravan. Cheers Steve

Why can't they make a camper like this in the USA. Wow I'm so impressed with this, its the way a one person ( woman) can set this up.
Ok I was watching another video on adding a canopy. Here in the USA we have Ez- up canopy's frames. I was just wondering if you would use that instead of polls with your canopy? I think it would work nice together. Because your camper is a easy set up. I try not to have separate poles that may get lost. Ex-up frame is all in one . No separate poles. Ex-up frame is compact. Please let me know what you think.

The cost of Marlin Campers is at the high end of the market for a camper trailer so it should be ok. I have a comparable camper that I bought around 2010 and still have, bought from a company that has since gone out of business. The soft floor camper was priced correctly but could not compete with the cheaper oversea imports. Excellent trailers and the best canvas compared to second rate oversea imports. The problem is that many first-time camper trailer owners don't know the value of a good camper compared to a poor quality one and end up selling and buying a caravan in short time.
