  • Hi guys,
As you know I checked out Marlin Campers some time ago where I met up with Steve the owner in Gosford NSW, he showed me around his operation and gave me a close look at these great light weight camper trailers.
His trailers won Camper Trailer of the Year 2020 and are a credit to him and his team.
Not long ago I reached out to Steve to see if I could borrow one to test, to my surprise he was only too happy to lend me one and only after he agreed did I tell him where I wanted to take it.
Without hesitation he told me to "Flog the hell out of it and bring it back dirty", well the lack of cleaning surprised me but he said it was all R & D and wanted to see how it went and how it sealed. So I became the independent R & D guy for this trailer. How cool is that?
Well we took it and pounded it to hell and back and as you watch you'll see the results. Let's just say it impressed me a lot.
Id like to thank Steve for allowing Kaz and I to take this trailer away and test it out!
I hope you enjoy the video!

Thanks Steve, yeah we had no idea the seal was missing and considering what we did I thought the dust wasn't too bad. Im hoping we get to take it away again in the future now its been fitted. We did enjoy this camper while we had it. Cheers Steve

Been using a Marlin escape for the last 18 months, definately value for money, tows easily behind my Suzuki Grand Vitara - fuel is around 7-9Lt/100km. Definately worth looking at if someone is looking for a good quality camper at a realistic price point. Thankyou for your video.👍

Great little trailer guys. Thanks for the video. The 200 wouldn't even feel it sitting on the rear. Thanks Steve & Kaz.

You're right mate, the 200 didn't feel the weight at all. Tough as nails and very comfortable camper trail. Cheers Steve

Hi Jim, they are really light, tare would be about 600kg, loaded I think we might have just made the 1000 at most. I do really like this trailer. Cheers Steve

How are your bush barrier holding up for you? Any drama?
    Cheers

Hi Alex, mate I find them really good, but with that I have found that if they go on a wet car they become almost impossible to get back off, which results in damaging the bush barriers themselves. Other than that they are great. Hope this helps and thanks for watching. Cheers Steve
