Maul is definitely worth it for the price because Vader exists, Vader most likely is better for soft control decks because he can grab a sentinel unit but paying around $45 for a Maul playset is way more palatable than paying $180 and Vader is not $135 better.
@@sadworldwide but most people don't think like that though , they don't think in terms of power per dollar spend, they think in terms of power period. Will see how things shake up but I am convince maul go down in price but I could be wrong, in any case that's not really the point of the video
the offical SWU website has store and event locators. often times i just find local stores that are selling product, and then i visit their website or call to inquire about upcoming events.
Thank you! Get involve with your local community and game store discord/facebook/social media group. Those places are the primarily way local events will be advertised.
Is it worth buying legendary cards that don't seem competitive? Example I didn't get any Kylo Rens. I dont have any deck plans to play him currently. Is it still a good idea to get a playset?
If you think the card is likely to become stronger in upcoming sets and it's undervalued, then the answer is yes. For example in SOR I got all double aspect legendaries within the first 3 weeks after release because I knew those cards were gonna get a lot better (some did far earlier than I thought). This paid off really well as you can expect.
No sure What you mean by respectable. I am a competitive player so I usually don't try archetypes unless I think that they have a chance to be competitive. In this case, I don't believe Hunter as any chance to be competitive therefore I won't try. Testing decks and tweak them to the point where I am comfortable showing them on this channel is very time consuming and requires a lot of work behind the scene, so I have to be mindful of the time I spend , and I would not want to waste my time on leaders that I think are not competitive.
@Thorrk_THT thanks for replying. I really appreciate your content, I mean to say competitive, but I definitely see your reasoning and I look forward to see what you have in store.
Great video to ground yourself and not get carried away😆 looking forward to you handing my ass to me again at the next store showdown 😂
ty for helping the people!!

Hey bro , love your content
Thank you for this video and I hope you keep making videos like these. I find these extremely helpful and know a lot of players feel the same :D
It feels like I keep bumping into the same people on every SWU related video :P
@@Oneidos_Gaming lol, what can i say? I like good content creators like you and Thorrk!
Okay I was collecting cards the last days, and I think this video will help a bit. 😊
Good and informative for people. I am all in with a playset
Lol 😂
They first two tips are super key. Its not call cardboard crack for nothing. Seen people go homeless over tcgs
This should be required viewing for getting into ANY trading card game. Amazing presentation. Do you have any advice on finding local tournaments?

@@Thorrk_THT do you think cards like kylo and Rey have any future?
@@terrorshard2916 Anything is possible but I would say unlikely.
Hey thorrk is there any way you make the bad batch into a respectable deck?
