I have a dear friend at USMA right now, and I cannot love this song enough. I sang in chorus in college, and I know how much work and dedication it takes to get to this level. And the cinematography is just astounding. I cry every time I watch this. It is just that deeply moving.
Career and retired Air Force here...my uncle attended West Point. Every element of this is exceptional. I absolutely hate the fact that this young lieutenant lost his life but what an amazing tribute to him. And, what a tremendous rendition of the West Point alma mater...a beautiful hymn. The lead vocalists, the piano, and the glee club members...the Prasnicki family has to be comforted by this entire production to honor his memory. My school choir had the chance to sing in the white house one year. Teacher told me our choir was selected. I really wanted to sing in the white house for the president as a kid. Never got to go since I needed a letter of approval from a guardian. Love videos like these. It brings back old memories I forget.
