I love the band. ❤ Old school music like I've never heard it played before. 😊
People who say they hate this port, it’s because they don’t know this port. They stay here among all the ship’s shops with the thousands and thousands of people. I’d hate it to. So here’s the trick. Walk right through all that crap, right out the back to where there’s taxis and shuttles waiting. It’s just a few bucks to go two miles to Mahahual. There’s extremely light crowds with lots of shops that are run by locals, not the ship. Beautiful white sand beaches with lots of shade. I recommend the Crazy Lobster. A bucket of ten 7oz beers for 10 bucks and reasonable priced food. My only warning is to not go here on Sundays. Sunday is “locals day”. You can still get a table in the shade, but it’s super crowded.
We’ve been cruising for @20 years and have been to about every port in the Caribbean and Costa Maya is my favorite port. If you’re looking for a lot of things to do, it’s not a good place. If you want a chill experience on a great beach in the shade with affordable prices that supports the locals… this is it! I always hate when it’s time to go back to the ship.
@@trbig67 I agree, check out my review of Krazy Lobster. It is certainly my new favorite excursion.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Love the mini-concert near the end. We'll be on the Jubilee in January and will definitely check this spot out.
Me too, Jubilee in January and recording it all!
Love Costa Maya 🩵🥂
Did that say $16 chips and salsa!!!! Hell nah 😂
Yeah, that tourist food ain't cheap.
@@allgoodontheroad I know but that’s excessive. In my research it seems a lot of people don’t like the port of Costa Maya and now I’m starting to see why… that was the nail in the coffin for going to Hayhu over staying at the port. I’ll take Picanha instead lol.
@@mistifeyed I get it. I think I will try Krazy Lobster when I am there again in December.
it says $10 but still expensive for chips and salsa.
Blessings, I was about to sleep but when I heard your Performance with the Music band I just could not sleep It was so entertaining well done. Kerp up the great content love it. New subscriber here stay well 🙏🏾 😊❤️thank you
Thank you
Great video. I just got off the Celebration earlier this month. I’ve never been to Costa Maya. I think I’m booking the jubilee for there next year after seeing your video.
I thought it was a great stop. I will be on the Jubilee in January on the same itinerary.
My dad 🤝 saying ‘hey buddy’ to every critter he sees
We were there 2 weeks ago. 4 ships pulled in at the same time. It was riduculously crowded . You could barely move without running into someone.
Yes, I can imagine too many people at once might ruin that experience.
Is there any butterfly 🦋 or nature trail excursions there?
Sorry, not any real nature trail walks at this port, but there is a walkway through an elevated bird aviary for $14.
@@allgoodontheroad thank you so very much for your reply. Yes, I figured there was just an bird aviary tour.
People who stay in and around ports get ripped off. Thats the entire point of the port areas. Get away from the trap and go experience Mahahual, it's a great town.
Have u been to Mayan ruins? Do u have a video ?
Sorry, i have not, the bus ride from the port is too long for me.
It seems so crowded to me.
There were a lot of people there. But there were several ships im port.
Lots of scams.. Ugly town nothing there.
Most people never go to "town". The malecon is not town.
F costa maya. More like scam central
What happened?
