@yvettew4405 Hi Yvette, there is an escalator, an elevator, and stairs from street level to level 3 where you enter the terminal.

So even if we are parking at the hotel we drop luggage at the bottom of parking garage with porters and then go up to deck 3 correct? There isn't a separate porter area? First time at that hotel and terminal so this was very helpful.

Yes. everyone drops their luggage off at the same spot right there at those yellow posts on the ground floor, no matter where you park or if you come from across the street. Of course you may always carryon if you like and skip all that. I usually check a bag and carry a bag.

When you board the ship, there is no difference between passport or birth cert. The process would be the same, but when you exit the ship returning home, there will be two lines. The birth certificate line will be much slower, passport line is facial recognition, just smile and go. Here are the requirements for Birth cert. The following are acceptable: An original or copy of a birth certificate issued by a government agency (state/county/city) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics A clear, legible copy (photocopy) of a birth certificate that was originally issued by a government agency (state/county/city) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics. The copy does not need to be notarized or certified. Birth Certificate Card

Depends on the port, many ports consider that close enough, but a few like Galveston are to the minute ports.

Hi Michael, thanks for watching! The main dining room is included for breakfast, lunch, and dinner when it is open. There are a couple of for pay items if you want, like filet mignon and sushi boat, but everything else on the menu is included. You can even ask for multiple appetizers and entrees, but there is a five dollar charge if you would like a third entree.

I love both. Nothing like sitting on my balcony and watching the ocean or eating my breakfast out there, but i also really love a cold pitch black interior room.

This was actually my friend's cabin, i was in a balcony several doors down, but you can expect to pay usually half to double again the price of a standard balcony for a suite.

@@allgoodontheroad Yeah, I doubt I'll ever be able to afford it. We started cruising in 2017 (on The Pride, coincidentally), and it came to $1400, total. The exact same ship and itinerary is costing us literally twice that amount in 2025...

@@AlienFrequency Yes and all the deals that used to happen like last minute cabin fillers are gone. Seems like everyone started cruising post covid and the prices and capacity show it. I miss those last minute deals!

No, if you like you may open a cash account and deposit some cash for the cruise and either add or get nack cash as needed.

Oh that tower at the end of the walkway was great for that, but there is also a trail that runs through the prairie from the visitor center.

Yes, you have the option of checking luggage, carrying on luggage, or both. I often check a big bag and carry on a small bag that i could not do without. Also, your checked luggage often does not arrive until after 5, so you might want toiletries, a bathing suit, or dinner clothes carried on with you.
