Send me a note if you want to purchase one of the 3d printed things I have made.
Looks like you have plenty of life jackets for bringing guests along 😁
What are you getting at Luke? lol...
I don't think there's any other boat in its class that is more well thought out than the alumacrafts.. awesome boats !! My favourite boats but mad pricey!!
I love love love the 205 tiller. It really is awesome. Thanks for checking out the vid...
Very nice boat! I like how you've customized your boat for catching fish and having fun! Enjoy your videos.
Thanks John. I appreciate the support. Thanks for watching. I have tried to make it a jack of all trades setup and am very happy with it.
Those Milwaukee M18 converters are brilliant!!
Let me buy a few!! Very cool boat man.
Thanks Steve. I had a lot of fun tricking it out. I could print and make some for you might be a few weeks though as i need to fix my 3d printer first.
well done...watched it twice to pick up all the details. Thinking seriously about getting a 205 this summer. Have been an evinrude man since God dug the river out west of town. Had my heart set on the 150 G2. But since Evirude bit the dust will probably stay away from them. Have a Yamaha on our pontoon. Don't know which way to go. Thinking the 150 (any brand) will be all I need. Mercury is annoucning something in Feb about their motors. I just know the evinrude will get you out of the whole better. Next motor will either be a Merc or Yamaha. Thanks for sharing...did a splendid job on customizing your boat. Love the decals on your 2020...2021's don't appeal as good. God Bless!!
Thanks for checking it out John! I had a 50hp evinrude on my 165 competitor and it was a good motor for me. loved the easy winterization. this 150 merc has been flawless too.
I’m p
Nice rig! I live in IA too (DSM METRO). What Lakes are you fishing? Still happy with the 205 or wish you went smaller to the 185?
Still loving the 205. Only thing that is a detriment is it takes up 2 stalls in my garage. I fish around des moines, southern iowa, and trips to south dakota mostly
Good job with the customizations... for all the addons you 3D printed, you should have just 3D printed the boat and saved a chunk of coin lol!
that would be cool to be able to do wouldn't it... i have a carbon fiber printer at work but can't use it for home projects...
May I ask where you sourced your Bimini / Sun top from?. It looks like it tucks away quite nicely and is exactly what I'm looking for to add to my 205. Would you have any pictures of it when it is 'up'?
I believe I got it from Cabelas. It is really slick using the alumatrac brackets, especially because you can slide it back and forth to cover different areas of the boat. I will check to see if I have pics of it up and let you know.
Hi Fisher. Your 150hp has power steering (p/s) and your kicker motor doesn't appear to be tied to it with a tie bar. I assume that you leave the 150 in the water, NOT running and aimed straight ahead when trolling with the kicker. How do you find your boats 'tracking' and steering when the big motor is down? It would be acting more or less as a rudder and I want to ask if you can still steer with the kicker reasonably well or do you use the bow motor? Have you investigated how to run the kicker with the power steering on the 150 activated?
When running forward with the kicker i pretty much only use the bowmount for steering. I use the kicker backtrolling then I steer with it. The power steering would drain the batteries too fast as it takes more amps than the 6amps the kicker puts out if i were to tie them together.
