100. But thats why I never made it as a professional athlete. I'd only be in it for the money and was never emotionally invested and disciplined enough. Really just in it to hang with my friends and meet chicks.
I was critical of Jordan Poole all the way back to the year prior to their Finals year. He is an inconsistent scorer who can't do anything else. His game is so flawed that I don't think the Draymond punch really is the cause of anything. He's always been this guy, people just remember highlights. In those last two years with Golden State, he cost them several regular season and playoff games. I swear, people didn't watch full games with Poole or just got their mind wiped like Men in Black or something.
Jordan Poole needs to develop ANY kind of game without the ball, either offensively or defensively. Either he needs to become a better passer or better defender. Literally any kind of bag and he's a much better player. His game sucks and has always sucked.

But it won't be easy.
As far as we Dubs fans have heard, along with every thing you mentioned regarding his ego and attitude after getting that ring and that bag, what he said to Draymond to get punched was, "You're just an expensive backpack for 30."

I think people don’t realize how easy it is for people to get a concussion, Draymond literally knocked out Poole by punching him in the jaw, which is how you usually get knocked out from a concussion. He doesn’t seem all there because there’s a high chance Draymond have him a concussion. And I’m not here to explain to people what a concussion does to a person, but there’s some symptoms that align with Jordan Poole, whether it’s him not looking all there, or him just being slower. Jordan Poole could potentially make a comeback since you can comeback from a concussion, but it takes a lot of time. And Poole definitely plays based off of confidence, so he’s gonna have to figure out how to boost his own confidence. But yeah, he definitely got a cte, his body instantly goes limp, and Draymond may have even got another punch or two in, when he was already knocked out. I haven’t watched the video yet but i feel bad for Poole. He was great on GSW and got traded because his toxic ass teammate punched him in practice. He’s struggled on Washington but who hasn’t? Hope he finds a new home I still think he can be a very productive player
He was never "great" on GSW, they were able to hide his flaws. When Poole wasn't scoring and was useless, they made him a rotational player. When the Warriors were missing Steph, they'd accept the risk of Poole's flaws. Now that he's on the Wizards, there's nothing hiding his flaws. He's a broken basketball player, and he's always been like this if you go back and watch his collegiate career and his time with GSW.
Talk all you like, but he’s been putting it together recently and has had a stretch of good games now. But ya’ll only wanna clown no one wants to talk about the good games 😂
i love watching athletes downfalls people that have almost always had easy, well structured lives, have likely been the most popular and well liked people most places they’ve been their whole lives, who get given millions to play a sport as their job, and are usually still ungrateful and complain about bad treatment.
I think us as fans may fail to understand that for example: ``I'm on a title contending team, I got one of the greatest point guards on my team and a dynasty roster with a phenomenal organization.`` to his confidence being shattered and the fact that it seemed that he would take over the reigns once Curry retired to instead ending up on a 14th seed team after being punched by his own teammate.
While what you said is true, but lacks a key element, which is a whole year period between being punched and the trade. And he played so badly during that year, like literally a joke.
If he had the right attitude and took things seriously, he would have been the next Warriors superstar alongside Kuminga and possibly, at the time, Wiseman.
Draymond wasnt only responding to disrespect. He was policing his locker room. Happens in hockey all the time. If Poole wasn't so arrogant, he would have humbled himself, moved on, and may still be a warrior.
if getting punched by a teammate wasn't enough to adjust his attitude.. lmao ain't nothing gonna change poole. he's lucky for the punch that led to the warriors rushing his extension to "fix" team chemistry instead of waiting until summer.
So I'm going to watch the video anyways, but in my opinion the reason why he fell off is one he got cocky, two they actually studied them and the way he plays.. you know just like what the NFL does anytime a team wins the whole thing. Next year it becomes increasingly more difficult because every other team has been watching films about you. It's the reason why it's such a ridiculousness in the sports to 2p. let alone 3p ala Lakers
Film? Dude just missing shots, they are not stopping him from making the same exact moves tho. You don't need film to see Poole is not a starter and more of a bench that excels from there. He can't RUN anything, especially a starting lineup no different than when he was in GS and they needed him to run the offense. Film on basketball is not even the same as watching film in something like football. The NBA has arguably the worst defenses in sports, so what are they watching? NBA Star players don't regress no where near the way other sports players do, especially the next year. When you can keep asking for picks as a Star so you can get on a sorry ass or slower defender on you 24/7 like the league is watching film helps what exactly?? 😂😂

I haven’t watched the video yet but i feel bad for Poole. He was great on GSW and got traded because his toxic ass teammate punched him in practice. He’s struggled on Washington but who hasn’t? Hope he finds a new home I still think he can be a very productive player
The fact he’s struggling on a bad team is alarming 🚩
He was never "great" on GSW, they were able to hide his flaws. When Poole wasn't scoring and was useless, they made him a rotational player. When the Warriors were missing Steph, they'd accept the risk of Poole's flaws. Now that he's on the Wizards, there's nothing hiding his flaws. He's a broken basketball player, and he's always been like this if you go back and watch his collegiate career and his time with GSW.
Dremond punched the reset button on his basketball skills
Draymond punched all the offense right outta him
Talk all you like, but he’s been putting it together recently and has had a stretch of good games now. But ya’ll only wanna clown no one wants to talk about the good games 😂
i love watching athletes downfalls
people that have almost always had easy, well structured lives, have likely been the most popular and well liked people most places they’ve been their whole lives, who get given millions to play a sport as their job, and are usually still ungrateful and complain about bad treatment.
The definition of over confidence - Jordan Poole
We laugh now, but when the man gets his Shaqtin MVP....we'll laugh harder!
One bad season is a fall? Y’all mfers laughing at him need a life
Jordan Poole is the one player that you might actually be able to beat in a "Yeah, I could beat him one-on-one." scenario.
He just needs to find his confidence again and move on from the whole golden state situation
Maybe being benched will make him realize that he's not the 3rd splash brother anymore
Thanks for this vid uncs❤
Dubs front office only giving green a fine for the punch speaks volumes about how they felt about Poole
If he had the right attitude and took things seriously, he would have been the next Warriors superstar alongside Kuminga and possibly, at the time, Wiseman.
I respect Jordan Poole so much unironically. He got the bag then he was like "fuck this, im done trying" and is just having the most fun
People who actually know hoops saw this coming from miles away
Meh, if he isn't a total idiot his life is set. I'd gladly ride the bench until I retire at maybe 35 and let the internet try to make fun of me.
He needs to get through this contact and link up with team that will knock him down a peg. He can be a good wing guy, but he needs a mentor.
Draymond wasnt only responding to disrespect. He was policing his locker room. Happens in hockey all the time. If Poole wasn't so arrogant, he would have humbled himself, moved on, and may still be a warrior.
Draymond has cost the Warriors at least 2 more chips because of his antics.
Really poor research from you two on the huddle controversy
To be fair, whenever Green's contract comes up for extension he gets someone to leave the team IMO. In 2019 it was Durant, in 2023 it was Poole.
....he was hoopin the other night.
Him n Kuz.
if getting punched by a teammate wasn't enough to adjust his attitude.. lmao ain't nothing gonna change poole. he's lucky for the punch that led to the warriors rushing his extension to "fix" team chemistry instead of waiting until summer.
It's weird. You could cast Poole as Antonio Brown and Draymond as Vontaze Burfict.
Getting punched and traded really would fuck with anyone’s mental. I hate that he’s in this position now
I knew JP lost the plot when he said that he didn’t have anything else to p he after getting his ring in SF. No winning mentality whatsoever.
Wake up babe, new Synthetic Sports video
He is acctually playing better now that he is coming off the bench..
Draymond's punch really stripped him from knowing how to play basketball.
His legacy is being a meme more then a champ that's really impressive.
GSW fans swore he would take over for Steph. That’s so insane.
Poole would have never gotten paid if Dray didn’t punch him lol
That punch will haunt bro
Dropped 31 last night. Obviously he has not been good but I think coming off the bench could get him going and kinda already has
I lowkey love whenever you guys say “look” and show the pat bev camera meme or say “but” and show Kyle lowry’s butt hahaha
Make a video about the Mavericks already!!
Love it when people who've never played basketball let alone done anything of importance downs players
It wasn't a downfall. Dude got the benefit of playing with three HOFers and took it to his own head.
