BTW love the rig directly behind him with the inflatable shark on it, SVT-VR w/ 810 cab. True to the original that the Stones recorded their Get Yer Ya Ya's out album with in 1969.
I bought one of these last week, and the sounds on this demo are extremely accurate. Great tone flexibility for a hundred bucks! Good addition to the pedal board!
Hey thanks man! I was looking for a good demo on this that shows is grit side rather than full blown distortion. This video made my decision for me... This was a great presentation!
Just checked out my new Ameg Scrambler. 4 Knobs are enough. Good for Myung style fingering. Easier to use than Darkglass. Drive 11, Blend 12, Treble 12 Volume 2. Sterling By Music Man Ray 35 5 string.
Doesn't sound like a Scrambler and doesn't sound like a cranked Ampeg to me. The only thing that's really come close is the Tech 21 and Catalinbread stuff. This thing is cool in its own right, but it has its own vibe.
Even Mesa Boogie amps do that when using the footswitches, and these are basically boutique amps for thousands of dollars. So yeah, while it can be a nuisance, it won't do your amps and other hardware any further harm.
Very comprehensive demonstration, thanks. This ensured that this is my pedal of choice.
Love the settings at 6:40. Sounds like 6550 tubes just beginning to be overdriven. Perfect. Haven't heard another pedal on the planet do this.

Thanks Dino. Just picked this up. Completely awesome. Love this sound.

For the price you cant beat it. The only complain i have is that the switch pops when i turn on the pedal. I have to have it always on.
That's often the downside of "true bypass" ...
