With this technique, you need to be mindful that you need to wash out the sticky water-soluble stabilizer. So this technique in theory can help you get there, but it is not optimal as a doctrine/principal for embroidering on other hats with brims. Also, a stiff material may need a deferent needle.
@@carriederamo5671 I don’t know what your hat looks like, or what it is made of, or the size. I recommend getting a hat to try and experiment with that is not expensive.
Thank you for a great idea. I do love you videos as you do explain everything clearly.
I love this!
Great idea! Thanks for the video
Fun hat!
I have so many straw hats. I need to try this. I wonder if I can also try this on a straw purse.
Love! Have you embroidered a flat brim western hat ? A stiff brim? Curious if I would use the same leocess

What type and size needle did you use? Also, thread weight? Thank you! I enjoyed your wedding video!!!
Any thread will work. And depending on the weight of the thread and straw, but I used size 90 embroidery.
Thanks
Can I do this using my 770QE? I have the embroidery attachment.
Yes. Any BERNINA machine with embroidery can perform this function. Just make sure to use the correct stabilizer technique.
