@@liamwalsh9281 : You won't have to worry about spending 1night in it. No one would invite a jerk like you onboard in the first place. Besides, I doubt you know anyone that even has a yacht.

I’m assuming that if many people walked into your house they wouldn’t like how you chose to decorate it but it’s your place and you can decorate it the way you want it. It’s that simple.
I'm impressed with the tour. I have seen DB9 before, but not presented so efficiently. I like this narrator's neutral sounding voice and oratory restraint. I like the images of the yacht and its compenents prevail over the narrative. Until I watched this video I did not realize that I don't like the personal opinions and wowee adjectives others use to fill up the time. This presentation allows me to see and consider what I am seeing. Top notch.
PS: I appreciate that he shows all the fixtures in the bathrooms. Everyone else glosses over the toilets, but a very few of these yachts have Japanese style washlets which is more sustainable and sanitary than using toilet paper. Also some have flexible hoses next to toilets that is European and also more civilized than standard.
I'm more of an explorer yacht guy, but my goodness, this thing is amazing! I suppose if you had an extra 23 million, plus the 5 million a year to run it, then it's basically a floating mansion and you can't go wrong.
@@AleHorry Well, the rule of thumb is 10-20% of the cost of the yacht, I just went with 20% plus some because of the price of fuel and food these days.
The array at the top has to be the most interesting part. I glanced a few times and couldn't tell if it was going in front of a big statue then the next glance looks like a warrior. Saweet boat. She's gorgeous.
There's not much to add. Absolutely magnificent ship, the only thing I'd change is the stern tub. I'd have all that area as seating dining. I'm blown away by stunningness, of the boat, fantastic. Thanks for a great tour Tony!
I would remove the rear jacuzzi and surrounding transom to make an open boat deck for a large tender. It could be used as a beach club or flexible area when the tender is in the water. I’d also remove the tender from, and add a watertight cover to, the front swimming pool. Aside from that, nice yacht. Thanks for the videos!
I agree... all those hot tubs aren't really needed but the reconstruction would take a long time and cost a lot of €$! I'd at least go on a voyage or two before putting it in dry dock for such a costly refit?!
it' has been more then 6 years that they're trying to sell it . Price drop at least 60% from $50M to $23M . Nice Boat for the ME clients, and good luck for the maintenance :P
There's a lot of yachts for sale which have been on the market for many years; and some yachts, like Benetti's new 70 meter ALFA which have been for sale since completion of construction but haven't even had it's first official owner yet! My guess is that the novelty of owning and traveling in a yacht wears off quickly and the cost of ownership, whether you're underway or not, may also be a financial burden?! A common anecdote in the boating world which I've heard a few times is... "buying your first yacht is the second greatest day of your life! The greatest day of your life is when you finally sell your first yacht!"
Nooooossa, q delicia de iate, e realmente com um estilo bem diferente ja q tem esta pegada esportiva bem definida em tudo. Oootima apresentação, parabeeeeens.
It probably depends on if it’s a short or long trip. But the tender sits where you see it in the pool. The hidden crane releases it when needed. But I’m sure they tow it sometimes too.
Thanks for the tour Tony. This one is definitely interesting and unique. I can't believe a 170' sport yacht can achieve 32 knots or cruise 5,000+ nautical miles. Crazy. I'm trying to get caught up with all of your recent tours.
Truly amazing! Style and class! First boat I have ever seen That I can see why it has the price tag it has. Taste and style throughout! Every detail is exemplary!
Great video. Nicely done when you would pano in rooms. It wasn’t too fast to where it’s nauseating. Much nicer than the 600’ Gray ship I spent several years on.
Thnx for showing Tony. Its definitely a form over function boat..and I have the idea its not an ideal boat for the crew to work on. For instance, the engineroom seems very cramped.
A sport yacht like this is definitely unique. There are other models with more interior volume but this one is all about speed, style, and the exterior spaces! Thanks for watching!
Typically they will be very sleek and have sportier lines than a flybridge or tri deck yacht. They also typically have powerful engines for a fast top speed. In this case 32 knots for a 170' superyacht is very quick!
❤ Beautiful yacht! good job Tony , there is one thing I would have to be very strict on is when I own this yacht! is not to put anything like coffee cups or water bottles on the HELM DASHBOARD 💦💦💦 it may be well Insulated but don’t “ TEMPT FATE “ .
Unfortunately, I probably can’t make this work. I have fourteen crew members and a EC145 support helicopter. All jokes aside, I don’t love the height of the bridge, it looks like visual navigation would be somewhat challenging.
So modern and daring on the outside, yet so conservative and unimaginative on the inside. When you look well, you see it is not Lurssen or Fedship quality (would be way more expensive in that case).
I have always loved the external design of DB9. She looks fast and sleek even sitting still at anchor. However, she does look a little dated internally. Far too much wood everywhere. Especially in the guest cabins and saloon. I’m sure the new owner, will invest a few million in a refit. Great tour. Thank you Tony.
the problem with StarLink. if one offends it's owner with a twit, he could cut it off your communications mid-ocean. then you drift until they find a ghost ship.
I almost went on that yacht. But last minute decided not to. Denison had someone that was interested in it and we were going to board with them, but we would have needed to wait 15 minutes for them to get ahead of us and then get in board, so,we skipped it
I can only imagine pulling up to my island in the Bahamas, on this PJ 170, cause I'll never be able to afford any of these. Pulling up anywhere. I cant even imagine the level of good luck/ success a person must have to own one.
looking at the outside i thought they would take more risk with the interior, stripped hardwoods, leopard print, lapis, emerald, sapphire, leathers, juxtapose touches, however its safely white and dull, with the exception of the white veined marble in the owners on suit, very nice😐.
Very nice boat no doubt about it but you have to remember high performance it means high maintenance at high cost I bet this boat cost double what a similar yacht would cost for yearly maintenance upkeep
I believe this yacht is owned by the wife of a Walmart heir. You can see this is designed for a women's perspective. Not the typical masculine color pallet. Very tastefully done.
That bridge must be a nightmare to look out of at night with such a angle of the glass the reflection of the screens on the dash and all the lit up buttons must be hard ridiculously annoying.
Just found your site and enjoying the videos. Just out of curiosity, how much fuel do boats this size hold? I bet at 32Kn its like someone drinking a coke with a straw. 😅
That bridge is only slightly dangerous it’s only view is 2 ft high at the back of a enormous bow, so you vision is restricted to a small spot way out front and nothing left to right
Dazzling! I love the pool and aggressive hull design. Thanks Tony

One of the best owners cabins ive seen, very spacious

DB9 - my favorite yacht of all time since it’s debut.
Got to be one of my favorite yachts, might add it to the list😅
Good to hear! Add it!
Everything's so beige. Why with such a beautiful yacht is there no color. This could have been an epic yacht with a great color scheme. Thank you Tony
Thanks for watching, Debbie! Color scheme all comes down to the owners personal preference.
