Really appreciate this… have my eye on the remark. Sounds like it’s exactly what I want.

Thanks a bunch for posting this video. Sounds clean. Not obnoxious at all. I like it!
What do you think so far? Any drone detected? Any weight savings?

I only drove the car briefly after the install so I don't have a super great sense for it yet, but I believe the new axleback does have less noticeable drone than the MXP catback. I'm not super sensitive to drone so it's hard to tell for me but the MXP did reverberate the cabin a bit just under 3k RPM, and the Remark not so much.
As for weight savings: I didn't actually weigh the new vs the stock or old setup, but the Fedex tracking for the new exhaust said the exhaust + packaging was around 25 lbs, wheras forum posts indicate the stock axleback should weight 35-45 lbs. I can say that the stock axleback was pretty darn heavy and the new one not nearly as much.

Hey, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply to my questions. It looks like this exhaust is a great option for me. I was looking at the HKS Legamax premium but it’s just too expensive for what it is. It appears the remark Muffler offers just a bit more noise than the factory and it’s priced pretty good.
I sent Remark an email and they replied that the axle back muffler weighs 18.5 pounds so there’s definitely some weight savings there.
The remark Axel back is quite a bit smaller than the OEM. Do you feel like it leaves a lot of empty space in the back that would cause a negative effect on aero?

@@jakef777 I agree that the HKS stuff is definitely expensive so yeah, I think this Remark axleback is a great option for a relatively quiet OEM+ option.
I just re-watched the IAG exhaust video (ruclips.net/video/97QxbFvzf-w/видео.html) where they measured the stock catback at 35 lbs. I feel like most of then is in the muffler since its so dang big.
And you are right that the Remark muffler is wayyy smaller than the stock one, so there is now some empty volume under the rear bumper. Not as bad as some other exhausts like the MXP I replaced though. I think that there may be a small negative effect on aero around the bumper, but like I said, not nearly as bad as something like the MXP. That being said, running something like the Verus rear diffuser should negate any negative effects from the smaller muffler.

@@shfla7293 I’m thinking about it! I’d hope their mid pipe might increase volume just a little.

thank god someone other than remark posted sound clips of this exhaust, any chance you have insight on comparison of the remark muffler axle back to the yonaka cat back in terms of volume?

@@timmyg-v4c Hard to say since I haven’t heard the Yonaka in person, but watching vids of it I’d say they sound pretty comparable to each other.
