Lol. Which hairdresser can afford a tt rs? Maybe 1% of them. This car will cost 80k USD, 90k CAD. Great review. I come from a 981 cayman S. Now looking for a car I can drive year long. We have lots of snow during winter over here.
To be honest with you, i once had the mk1 tt quattro and my god was is good and predictable in the snow and ice. If you are looking for the perfect deal between a summer and winter car, the tt is the answer. It even has a big boot! I drove other 4 wheel drive cars in winter but none of them could bring me the smile that little tt did
Excellent. Je suis de Montréal. Jai déjà ma commande chez Audi Prestige. Livraison Avril 2017.
Kind of why I'm looking at it. Ideal for snow but also has some pep. As per the New York auto show they're predicting 60k base in US. People talk about understeer like it matters to most people but I don't race for a living, like 99% of the world population, so I don't see that having an impact on my overall satisfaction of the vehicle.
I have it on good authority from the product manager, so trust me. Audi says the passive setup is better for the RS, but it is standard on all TT S models, coupe and roadster.
50k seems a lot but when many performance cars are specked up to anything like Audi's quality of finish, you easily get to over 40k. Ultimately it is all about image. It is, after all, as fast as a top end Evo from 10 years ago: with an opposing image, similar price and better build. Yes, it's a babe's car but only because women have the guts to buy such a lovely car.
Well. that joke is funny but stupid, because newer TT's look ok. I also dont understand why someone would buy a red TT. Over all it is a city car with a big trunk that drives well. I really think that other colors are not that bad at all... www.autoplenum.de/Bilder/P/p0517886/AUDI/AUDI-TT-Roadster-1-8-TFSI--2015-2015-.jpg Or check this black 2nd gen TT in this video: www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2008-audi-tt-video Red and white... really bad colors for a TT
If that is your view of the New TT's then you are probably a hairdresser. The Mk3 TT's are excellent cars. TBH the hairdresser thing was lost when the MkII came out as it had a new chassis. The TT has come a LONG way.
Your total lack of car knowledge shows what a knob end you really are. My guess is, you are some 15 year old kid who couldn't even dream of owning a car like this so your answer is to call it a hairdressers car. What a fuckwit. There is no part of this car that is a "hairdressers car"
they are prone to rattles, but it's usually just hair products rolling around in the footwell! :-D they do have a hairdressers vibe, but I really like them, and I'm not very hair dressery!
While i respect the performance it is at the sacrifice of dynamics from the reviews so far. Also, it's not exotic looking and for those reasons I could never buy one.
Not for me I'm afraid; at the end of the day it's still a TT (albeit a quick one). Mid/rear-engined, rear-wheel-drive cars are drivers' cars - there are a few front-engined cars which have a rearward-biased diff which do work but this doesn't sound like one of them with the front wanting to push. One for the wanna-be fast hairdressers...
I have the tts didn’t like it much. I feel bad for people who drive right hand cars its just awful. U miss all the fun. For instance ur infotainment controller on the left u have to use ur left hand to use that and to shift u have to use ur left hand, just awful experience u missing all the fun. its like u r left handed so wierd. Lol
this seems like a better budget Nissan GT-R with a better interior. That would be a good comparison that I would be interested in watching
my thoughts exactly!
Find a good aftermarket tuner and you can easily get it to 500HP safely. Then it's a monster!
Super car inside and out 😳 Even the mk2 TTs can hit 60mph in 4.9 secs which is very impressive for a car that was released 8 years ago.
i yave been searching for reviews for months.
sprider

Is this coming to the US?
Jesse Montez yessir
What is a porsh??????? Same as a Aud???
really? 34MPG?
Is mag ride standard?
Yup.
Nope - Mag ride is standard on the TTS, optional on the RS.
I think that's wrong

okay princess you keep telling yourself audi TT's aren't hairdressers cars. it's cute when you guys come out...... literally.
