I like this version even better than their studio cut of this song and that never happens with me. A truly strong delivery and stage presence (and not just because of the orchestra or the effects). I wish this band had a stronger following in the US so they could do more touring here.

That’s why it’s called Symphonic Metal. Look RUclips at the 10 year anniversary of Epica and found an other great collaboration between metal band, orchestra and choir. Enjoy
This was the miracle of this concert. She sang a whole freakin' concert with a sore throat/cold, and did it beautifully. She's an angel right here on earth.

Symphonic rock is like a pizza and chips in one meal together. You know that it's unpopular, but you can connect it together despite this and you will have a lot of joy like no one!

If you like this you might also want to try Epica. It takes little more effort to get into but it is worth it. Good songs to start with are "the phantom agony", "once upon a nightmare" , "feint" and "tides of time"
I still remember finding out about this album - was browsing through a record store trying to figure out if I was going to get anything(I'm pretty picky, and I was kind of broke then), saw this, and my jaw dropped a bit. Bought it instantly, and haven't regretted it for a minute. It's still the only concert DVD I own.
A Jones she had a bad case of the cold and been in bed with high fever until 1 day before the concert. On the day itself her nasal cavities where still badly clogged. If listen carefully you can hear it. Still un amazing performance.
I don't even know what to say, this is truly magical. It really was the most spectacular event of the year, I would do anything see a show like this, and it's easily one of the bests WT has ever done!
Only the fact that you sounds even better in lives then in recordings pruves how awsome your voice is and how good your band can support that voice . I only wish you could come to greece for a show even for like an hour or so
