I drove around Oakland last week after not having been there in at least 5 years and the homeless situation seemed just on the other side of true anarchy and a problem that has become so all encompassing that it's not realistic to think about it as a true solvable problem much like the desire for world peace. I think closer to the truth is that the encampments will gradually drive out people that just want to get away from the reality of the problem and more and more property and real estate will be taken over and turned into encampments. Movies that highlight the decline of society in the future is happening real time in front of our collective eyes.

Its everywhere and its a tradgedy for society, all that human capital wasted, on the alter of class society and the dogma of free markets etc. We all once lived in tribal societies, where we all looked out for one another. @@robinstewart6510 40,000,000 Americans rely on welfare to be fed. Guess thats more 'first world' than starving. America has spent the last 2 decades bombing the shit out of the less fortunate around the world... yet RUclips shows Americans who might as well be in the third world for all the job opportunities they have. @@mukhumor .. Guy, we have over 335 million Americans, so you're 40 million is not all that impressive, especially when at least half of those should not be on welfare. The job opportunities are immense, as are the opportunities to start your own business. The only real problem we have is naysayers like you, who whine & gripe rather than contribute to the solutions.

@@robinstewart6510 Yeah right Chapo. Some of those people are amputees so I imagine the job opportunities are more limited. I guess 40,000,000 is not that impressive considering you could bomb a country to rubble in a fortnight without a second thought. Why pay US workers when China does it cheaper right. Good ol' Capitalism at work. Dog eat dog.

*1 of 4* Cities can eliminate homeless tent encampments by replacing them with *Homeless Shelter Villages* [HSV] using _Pallet Shelter's_ existing *Homeless Shelter Village* [HSV] components. The _Community Room_ sells for $37,000 and serves as a shared laundry room, restaurant, *child daycare center,* and addiction services center. The _Bathroom_ cost $35,000 and the _Services Office_ costs $9,000. So for only $81,000 a city can establish a *Homeless Shelter Village* [HSV]. The 10'X10' *Camping Cube Sport Pop Up Tent* costs only $120 provides protection from the elements; for two people and their belongings.
