Otis Compass Traction Scenic Elevators at Westin St. Francis Pacific Tower in San Francisco, CA

These elevators once had Otis circular touch-sensitive fixtures. Then they were modernized with custom Otis hall stations, and Otis Series 2 fixtures. Then these elevators were modernized again with Otis Compass, and Otis Series 2 fixtures. Some people report floor 32 being unlocked, but it was locked when I was there.

32 is a ballroom, it's only open when events are being held. As of now the only public floors you can go to are 22 to 32. all of the other floors are locked.

Floors 22-31 are unlocked only from upper floors, or also the lobby?

As of December 23rd, All floors are locked on floors 1 and 2. and floors 22 to 30 are the only accessible floors from the 4th floor and up.

You can't go to floor 32 because that floor was lock

you had a long wait for an elevator. they are fast when your in them. the you can walk up steps from 31 to 32.

I don't like going up staircases because I don't want to trigger the fire alarm, and in some buildings, opening the staircase door triggers the fire alarm, as the staircases are for emergency use only. I was here a few days before Christmas, which is probably why they were busy.
