Ordered a belt on Amazon after watching your how to change video. Excellent instructions. Just spent the morning trying to replace mine and when ready to put the motor pulley on it's obvious it's too short. May I ask what belt you used and do you know the length? Thanks ahead of time, Randy
At 54 seconds in I show you the Honda belt # 22431-771-700 is no longer available and I used a John Deere cross over to a GX25338. I do not measure the belts, I look up the part number from a parts lookup for the machine online (you can do the same) so I do not know or go by the length. This belt was for a hydrostatic transmission not a 5 speed.
Still going after 25 years, the junk made nowadays won’t last half that time.
