I stopped watching at "5.5 kilos = roughly the weight of your clothes..." That's over 12 pounds!! Sorry, but unless you are either 8' tall and 400 lbs, or wearing steel-toed boots, no one's clothing weighs that much. Does not give me confidence in this person's knowledge.
boots ~1,5kg, jacket ~1kg, fleece ~0,5kg, pants ~0,5kg, underware 0,5kg, others (belt, gloves, hat etc) ~0,5kg, EDC in your pockets (wallet, knife, firestarter, torch, snack etc) ~0,5kg. Some points may weight less some more but 5kg its reasonable assumption when you are on the trail.
