    Everyone remembers Trump asking for the National guard beforehand.
    They said as the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was the one that made that call. She said, No!

      I'll be respectful to you and address what you asked. It sounds to me like the guard should have tried harder.
      Isn't it almost like we should identify some people who can act and make decisions better than the rest? So, they can lead these guards better? For Jan 6th, the entire national guards ended up that person had to be Pence of all people?

      @@pl5994go read the law. The president is not in charge of deploying the guard in DC. That power was specifically removed from the potus years ago. Trump wanted them in place ahead of time, but he had no power to command it. The laws on this are different in DC than in the other states.

      Pelosi has no part in Command Authorization for the DC National Guard.
      That call goes to the Chief Executive. That's the White House.
      Sec. Miller and Gen. Charles Flynn were on that call.
      Initial Authorization was withheld and no active Deployment was ordered for 2+ hours thereafter.
      This man testifying under Oath was there at the time.
      As CSM, Senior Enlisted Advisor to Army Secretary for the DC National Guard.
      Secretary Miller and General Charles Flynn were on rhe Call.
      Under directive of the President
      None of which has a damn thing to do with Nancy Pelosi

    Actually President Donald Trump had requested for National Guards.. BUT the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi declined the National Guards' service.

      Why did it take till Mike Pence to just override everyone at the end to get the guards going?
      Can we get Mike Pence to stop Mike Johnson now? I think Trump stood by Mike Johnson wrongly with all these bills. And, history shows Trump won't do anything more once he did something once.

      That was the story on January 3rd. If you listened to the Tucker interview, the national guard tried to call for 71 minutes once thins started to hit the fan. And, could not get an updated answer. The bottom line is, not a single person in the entire chain of command of the national guard stepped up until Mike Pence did it. It was pretty ridiculous because Pence actually had zero military authority unless President is incapacitated.

      @@Vern-lu7tp This is some amazing plan. Somehow, Pelosi knew everyone would just stand pat until it took Mike Pence about 71 minutes to get the National Guards sorted. Just so she can get her film crew setup to take what's needed within that 71 minutes time frame?
      They executed it almost perfectly. Somehow, they knew the NG have to wait for Pence and nobody was going to do anything before that.

    pelosi said that having the national guard deployed would be bad optics. the mayor and the chief of police begged her. they knew that Trump had authorized the national guard days earlier.

      I'm not sure why people keeps talking about what was the though process and setup on Jan 3rd. The bottom line is, they all messed up until Mike Pence finally took hold of moving the national guard. And, guess what? Mike Pence as Vice President has none, ZERO, military authority. Pence is not any where in any military chain of command, unless the President is incapacitated.

We are still waiting, both Chris Wray, director of the FBI and Merrick Garland the attorney general of the United States of America have testified before Congress and been asked Point Blank how many government agents and confidential informants were in the crowd at the Capital neither of them could answer !!!

    This guy doesn't know the law or he is purposely lying. A president can only authorize the availability of troops, their deployment has to be signed off on by the Speaker of the House, the Senate Majority Leader, the Mayor of D.C., and the head of the Capital Police. They all have to agree to it before troops can be deployed

      Why was Trump able to mobilize the national guards to clear Lafayette Square just months earlier? And, why was Mike Pence able to mobilize them on Jan 6th later?
      Doesn't it seem like how Trump handled things then is like what he is doing with Mike Johnson now? He stood by Mike Johnson as he pushed all these bills, not realizing what disasters they were going to be. And, as Trump has delegated already, he no longer is going to say or do more.
