I would love to see the macro needs and AAs needs for an elite athlete who trains 2-3x a day. Additionally, what the insights says for RMR match requirements to mitigate metabolic syndromes. There’s always so much contradictory advice when it comes to longevity vs athletic performance. We often see long term cardiovascular disease developed in elite athletes. I don't understand why you are presenting the study that pesco-vegetarians, vegetarians and vegans live longer and than shortly after that you say that red meat boosts longevity. Red meat was evaluated by the WHO / IARC as probably carcinogenic to humans - I just don't understand why everyone is promoting the daily consumption of it.
Hi Michael, I understand your point. Where did I say red meat boosts longevity? Feel free to put here the time. I analyzed the amino acid content of different foods and their impact on mTOR. I suggested limiting to 30%-40% max of protein requirement if you eat red meat. If anything, I showed that processed meat increases death and a high intake of red meat can activate mTOR. Both are the opposite of boosting longevity.
So TRUE Michael, especially since exatly t h i s meat contains sooooooooo many undesirable and dangerous substances . . . and organic red meat iis unaffordable . . .

The processed vs unprocessed study I showed or Sinclair's study?
Let's keep you alive for another century :)
Well Christopher, you´re 100% right since especially l a m b chops are quite innocent ! THIS meat does n o t contain antibiotics and other undesirable substances !!
Eating 60-70% of animal protein does not seem to coincide with what David Sinclair says..
I heard that daily intake of proteins is per kg :D and you use constant for an adult (even without splitting it into men and women), not good, but rest is ok
What happened to David Sinclair?
The music is annoying
So TRUE Michael, especially since exatly t h i s meat contains sooooooooo many undesirable and dangerous substances . . . and organic red meat iis unaffordable . . .
@@WellnessMessiah would you consider having dr Greger on your show. he presents the science of the deleterious effects of eating fish for health and longevity.
@@debstayblessed9549 yep, just forget about him (Greger)
I don't eat meat or fish and I am fine
If you keep your insulin down, then mTor goes up then comes down quickly, if your insulin remains high then mTor stays high longer, read Porfessor Ben Bikmen, the key is to AVOID starchy refinded carbs. ie sugar and carbs that convert rapidly into sugar. Protein is absolutely essential along with fats.
65g protein?? Sarcopena here we come.
This diet might be ok for women. How about a man who wants to look and feel strong and masculine.
Dr Grundy claims vegetables are bad for you.
Can someone stop the annoying background music. It’s so stupid
There's no serious study about the health of meat
🥩🚫
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IT'S GARBAGE FOOD.
This food is cheap and is garnished with so many spices and gravies to mask the quality.
One meal was turkey mac and cheese misleading title it was dog food with pasta and canned peas and carrots.
Fish IS meat!
Shame on you Sinclair I bet you wouldn't eat this terrible food.
Why would i take any of these foods when i can get all of the same plus more macro and micro nutrients from animal meat and organs? In addition, vegatables and seeds contain defense chemicals and also have poor bioavailability
i dont trust david sinclair
why?
Take what you need that is all.. You dont need emotional implication. And if you can give a little bit more than Sinclair, give it.
he is completely transparent in saying what he knows, anyone knows, or he or anyone else does not or could not know. And fact is he did an absolute great work in his Lab together with his group... meaning that he can think and is intelligent.... but probably its too complicated for you
So no Leucine? We need mtor to build muscle though.. hmm so we have to be weak and fragile to live longer?
