I remember when I did by third party program stellar data recovery free edition. I recovered the old photos album folder in it.

DISKPART> select disk 1

DiskPart succeeded in cleaning the disk.
DISKPART> create partition primary
No usable free extent could be found. It may be that there is insufficient
free space to create a partition at the specified size and offset. Specify
different size and offset values or don't specify either to create the
maximum sized partition. It may be that the disk is partitioned using the MBR disk
partitioning format and the disk contains either 4 primary partitions, (no
more partitions may be created), or 3 primary partitions and one extended
partition, (only logical drives may be created).
Soldering a USB cable abd plug onto the 4 prongs worked for me ( red is positive, white , green, black looking down on prongs with plug in front)

I have always had trouble soldering. Please let me know what type of flux do you use? What solder (acid or resin core or solid and what mix of lead) do you use. Also, what wattage soldering iron do you use. A brand and model would also be helpful. I currently have three different soldering irons of different wattages and they either do not melt the old solder or end up heating the item I am soldering too much or the solder just beads up and does not stick. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I use JBC for soldering equipment and MG chemicals brand consumable for the most part, solder wire is a regular 63/37 led mix

I have data on my USB Drive. It has always worked but for some reason, when I plug it in windows 10 does not detect the drive. Actually if you watch carefully, it shows up for a split second then disappears. Windows states it cannot detect drive in D: All other usb drive work fine. Just this one has problems. Help?

not really data recovery here, simple solder repair job, hope you didn't charge them much. I do these repairs all the time. Its very easy for people to break off the connectors.
+Jay Walt I agree that this is more of a repair process, and this time we got lucky that repair was very simple. But the point of the process was to get access to the data. Connectors break often, specially when the unit is plugged into the laptop and laptop falls on its side.
+Jay Walt on some vendors these connectors snap off not so conveniently and really far into the unit, that there is almost no track left like in this case:

Jay Walt if you don't charge your customer then you lost your profit as your aim is to make money by solving the problem of customers even the problem is minor or too minor the thing is solving the problem.
