Excellent service for low price. Great location. Payment was inconvenient but I think it's the same for most hotel in philippines. They ask for cash return deposit although I use credit card. Little different from north america. Great hotel if you dont have money for radisson.
HI Rod ill be there around July and was thinking about the Raja on Osmena circle and was wondering if you have reviewed it. By the way i always enjoy your vids. Roy. South Australia
@@AmazingPhilippines1 thanks Rod i prefer the quest or Manderin but my wife suggested the Raja because a relative use to work there but i think she may have an ulterior motive, the casino. But i dont mind I'm just champing at the bit to get back. And maybe catch up who knows. Cheers Roy
i was been there in cebu first time, and were stayed in bayfront hotel, and i was amazed that every rooms of the hotel have WIFI, The internet was quite fast but thats fine and instead of using the Keys as the door lock, The hotel uses the card as the door lock. And the bathroom was not that bad. 5 stars for me
Looks really clean ,bed looks comfy but price is a bit high for me and no pool....i guess paying for the location..thank you for the video..been watching your videos lately.
Been to the hotel several times. As is usual the windows are dirty. They seem to have forgotten that windows have two sides. The beds are very comfortable, the buffet breakfast is usually included and is first rate. Wifi is strong but limited to two gadgets per room. Yes, the gym is rarely used. No pool. No doubt, a convenient location.
Thanks for sharing your experience oceanic16. I have been complaining about dirty windows in a common area next to elevators for over a year where I live and they tell me it is scheduled....
Very nice and affordable too Rod, i remember this place being built a few short years ago. Potentially suitable for us on future visits as we often spend time at SM mall. I can be found frequenting Shakeys Pizza Place where one can purchase an ice cold mug of beer, very nice especially on a hot day and alleviated by the SM building air conditioning. Thanks for this Sir Rod, well done.
That is about Motel 6 range and a much nicer hotel Joe. There is demand here and seems to be a bit of a shortage of hotel rooms with several new hotels under construction now.
Earl Hickey ..aosmec square hotel is 400$ a month or less and restaurant has good meals for $1..check it out on Google..Sans inn Mactan is a little bit more but it has a kitchen and is much nicer..
Good question Earl. Try the Travel Bee hotel. I have done a video about one of them. There are 2 in town. Otherwise use one of the online booking companies like booking.com and plug in your $ requirements.
On the job training is big here with all of the vocational schools and universities placing their unpaid students in appropriate jobs hopefully. She was very new at this but did an excellent job of showing me around Layne. I was surprised that they had a room to show me as they were very busy.
Nice place
Thanks Aileene.

Thanks Young Kim. It is a nice place. The cash deposit is something I have experienced several places also. It is a bit annoying.

Looks good Rod. I've booked there June 16th as it's close to Leyte ferry.

🍎™ 😊
Thanks
Thanks for watching Sami.
American here: As I've heard it on other videos, what does CR mean in reference to a bathroom? Crap Room? I doubt it.
CR stands for Comfort Room Clyde and you will often see those letters instead of toilet, restroom, or bathroom.
@@AmazingPhilippines1 Thank you!

I have walked by there dozens of times Roy but never stopped in. They also have a casino on site I think.

I have walked by this place dozens of times and finally stopped in Bob. It is very convenient.
$45-50 US dollars, isn't that rather high for the Philippines?
That is about Motel 6 range and a much nicer hotel Joe. There is demand here and seems to be a bit of a shortage of hotel rooms with several new hotels under construction now.
