MechRider89 the 1991 Corolla is pretty cool I remember my dad had one 5 speed manual only weighed 1600 pounds and 150 horsepower thing was really zippy great handling car and lasted to 500k miles
He's one lucky guy! And if he needs parts! Go to Puerto Rico! I bet he'll find parts there! You'll see a lot of those and other classic toyotas there! Puerto Rican's love those cars! They know what they have since they hit the streets there in the early 70s.
Had a 1970 Corolla Coupe in the day. Fun Little ride, compared to my previous Huge 1960 Impala. Its reclining front bucket seats were a much enjoyed item. It was a very reliable car...in good and bad ways. Every 18000 miles it's muffler would rust and fall off making it very noisy...like every crappy modern Civic you hear outside your bedroom at 3 AM these days. It still ran fine after 120000 miles. Took it to 102 MPH one time, chasing a Shelby Mustang. The Shelby kept going and won. LOL
This is not a Levin, its a KE25 Deluxe. Give away is the 2 gauge cluster and the missing 3 gauge middle cluster, not to mention the DELUXE badge on the sides.
Phillip Baines ... you are correct in pointing out it's not a Te27 but its also not an SR either Phil. SR versions had different badges and factory tachometer. This model is known as a deluxe coupe. I've owned many variations of these beautiful old Toyotas. Check out my blue coupe on my channel.
These cars stock fit right up to a 17" wheel if a lower profile tyre is fiited. I run 15" on mine see my channel. There is no need for power steering as the steering is rather lightweight on these also.
I love those old Toyota's the 80's and down were just amazing.

No AC, no power steering and you're stuck with 13's. 15's won't fit. Nice car though. '74 SR5 was my first car.
