this was SUCH a GOOD SHOW...sad they didnt give it a chance..so many awful shows get season after season..but this well made surprise...not...shame on those in charge

Much better as this was actually functional heroes having growing pains whereas the Boys were self-absorbed, attention seeking heroes more concerned with their Q-rating ... they bailed on this series too soon, and the Boys actually had redemption paths for their heroes and adversaries. It's a shame they ended it.
I came from TikTok, literally never heard about this show. I collect movies, comics and I consume all superhero stuff, so if I've never heard about this show that means the marketing is really bad.
So many superhero stories. And each superhero represents its creators minds. Getting such amazing superpowers and being concerns only about one country’s destiny and vilinizing other countries it’s so narrow minded. Creators suppose to be the greatest minds, not the narrowest. See the world United, one humanity. If we don’t see and don’t tell these stories, we will never change the mindset. I don’t want to see more of these pity stories, I want great stories where people already accepted each other, respect each other. Or how else we going to learn and to change. Storytelling is the most powerful tool there is.
I had high hopes but this show fell flat. I found myself getting bored and doing other stuff while this was on in the background or just plain falling asleep. Characters are kinda predictable and one dimensional but it also looked like the show was abandoned too soon for it to develop. 8 eps is too short to flesh out 6 superheroes and their origin stories and history/dynamic with eachother in the world they live in
this show deverses a better showrunner, they honestly did Mark Millar dirty on this one, this was his crown jewel of a brain-child and they ruined it, don't get me wrong the casting was perfect, to perfection, but this show if needed to be done right, needs a game of throne touch, and NETFLIX does doesn't have hwta it takes... this is something that should have been handled by HBO. Or another streaming serving like Apple Tv. we deserve a better Jupiters legacy, I hope we get one while we're still alive
Define "woke"? I used to think that it meant heavy-handed political correctness...but now it just seems to be anything with minorities or women or LGBT+ in it, or that doesn't have a white straight cis-gender male in it. Anyway, pretty sure that Mark Miller is NOT known for being "woke”.

They should have retconed many things namely:Origins of the heroes, the cause of the family strife and the big bad.
