    5:40 There's a button on the steering wheel and on the screen itself that will rotate the screen automatically. Don't think it was designed to be manually rotated like that.

    Hey Jenny,
    Thanks for reviewing the BYD. Quirky?! There are definite echoes of "1955, Citroen DS" going on with this car ...
    Anyway, nice work as always; an excellent review! It's great to see you back at it in the new year, building your dreams! (See what I did there !?!)
    However, speaking of dreams, please tell me: What has happened to the long, cool woman in a black PHEV? (By which I mean Simone). In the latter stages of last year she reviewed an electric bike, a car battery that you can plug into your house, and since then we've heard nothing but long-legged crickets from our girl ...

      The BYD battery is currently the safest EV battery in the world. BYD have a video showing the nail penetration test, compared to the usual NCM battery in most other EV's. It passes with flying colours. The worst cars for fires are hybrids, followed by conventional petrol/diesel cars. The devil is in the detail and the media and EV haters have a way of distorting the facts. I have 100% confidence in the BYD blade battery.

    • @bazinga615
      @bazinga615 5 месяцев назад +1

      yeah sure, mate. There's no apartment strata plans banning hybrids and ICE cars, yet so many owners corps have blocks on car charging of EVs because it's considered an additional level of hazard that in turn needs an additional level of fire mitigation.

    • @worawatsr9803
      @worawatsr9803 5 месяцев назад

      I think you are talking about Tesla cars. BYD uses blade battery that never catches fire

      @@geoffdmckBYD are extremely well known in China as being the highest number of burning evs. Most of the evs that have caught alight are BYD.
      They are certainly not safe.
