To all people saying there multiple movies which are sex comedies with men as lead this is common. Maybe so, but they are not portrayed as champion of men’s freedom, they are shown as sleazy and characterless. In some movies they change and in most movies they pretend and get away…nonetheless they may be played by A list actors but are never labeled as well behaved man of character. Next, don’t come with the label unapologetic and flawed…if you properly pay attention those roles played by men are still villains. Movies like KGF, Pushpa, Satya, D company where hero is a criminal, still doesn’t go about doing this. So you get the point. This is a woman commenting, so don’t go about attacking men. Not everything is about Patriarchy.
This movie can make you suffer from both loose motion and piles simultaneously.💀

There are multiple sex comedies where men are protagonist and all men cheer. From masti to grand masti, all movies show men (a group of friends) having fun and experiencing sex. Similar concept about women centric films, where women are seen having fun are just hated by the same people who enjoy senseless comedy.

Managed to power through this. As a fan of Bhumi's earlier work, this was super disappointing. Some scenes in particular are so badly acted it's amazing the director okayed the cut.
Folks calling Animal out for problematic content, but Ranbir at least performed his heart out.
Bhumi and co here were super cringe and (to put it bluntly) just acted poorly in a weak script and shoddy screenplay which is equally problematic in places w.r.t infidelity and age shaming.
Facial, eyes and vocal expressivity was zero in critical scenes too.. big letdown! Bhumi needs to overcompensate less for her aesthetic/cosmetic insecurities and get back to her acting prowess.

Wow if only all Indians would openly accept this for women. This movie was lighthearted attempt at women of this culture to spread the message of being accepted for the wonderful person that all women encompass. Men are so scared of our sexuality and, it's no wonder some cultures have tried to kill this natural yin that exists everywhere in the world. Where would the world be without us.
