Just finished watching this movie and all I can say is hats off to the entire team. I laughed so hard at the funny scenes and cried harder in the emotional parts. It was a rollercoaster ride. Just like a good movie should be. Also, *perfect* casting! Big congratulations to the whole team ❤ thanks for making this one

This movie was absolutely beautiful. As an Indian woman, I enjoyed every bit of it. It was like a typical Bollywood movie but it had great gay representation for both males and females as well as cultural appreciation. It included different race groups as well which just added to the beauty of it all. I laughed through the whole movie and some end scenes actually had me tearing up. It captured what goes on in indian households perfectly. Im proud that Bollywood is finally introducing the lgbtq+ community to the world. Would definitely recommend to watch, it made me so proud.

I just came across this movie by accident on Netflix. (I am not Indian. I am Canadian.) At first, I thought it was just one of those cheesy Bollywood movies, but I watched anyway because I wanted to have some light-hearted entertainment. But this movie is anything but. I was completely blown away by it. It's VERY smart. It's funny but touching at the same time. (I cried a little.) The acting was fantastic. It's not completely one-sided, i.e. in the end, everyone just embraces the homosexuality. That's not the case. There were a few family members who still, realistically, refused to accept it. But that's what's so great about this movie. While still not entirely realistic (e.g. the fake married couple was accepted by MOST of their respective family members), it still depicted the reality (i.e. a lot still had problem with them). I am so glad that I always enjoy subtitled foreign movies because if I do not, I would have missed this absolute gem. I hope this movie can reach a wider audience.
It is the biopic of our beloved actor Rajkumar Rao 😂😂, he tells his reality in this movie which I knew years ago 🤣😂
I just finished watching this movie. Honestly, this movie is so beautiful, I got so emotional at the ending. Thank you to the crews and cast of the movies for giving us such a realistic movie. Not many films with concepts like this can be found, especially in Bollywood and Kollywood industries. Loved every second of it. I hope these types of films get more recognition because it's definitely underrated. Congratulations to the team and I really hope I can see more #LGBTQ representation in upcoming movies. #LOVEISLOVE

THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING. Everyone go watch it pls,you will not regret it. It was hilarious like I was dying of laughter in scenes and then all of a sudden I was crying at scenes too and how emotionally moving they were. This film actually left an impact and you will be moved to tears by it for real. Not one actor was bad in my opinion,they all made this film amazing and just spot on. Everything from the music to the comedy to the emotional scenes to the representation to the chemistry was literally perfect. I can’t even fault this film. The trailer actually doesn’t do it any justice to how great it is.
This is one of the best films I’ve seen in ages and the best Bollywood movie representing the LGBTQ community by far. it deserves so so much love and I can guarantee it’ll be a classic film everyone cherishes still in years to come. You can see the effort and passion put it in from the cast,the directors,everyone involved in this. It’s literally perfect.

The whole cast did justice to the film, great concept, genuine storyline, amazingly portrayed the struggle of coming out as homosexual in this nation and how acceptance especially from the family normalises it.
Exciting trailer for two reasons
1) LGBTQ subject (hope without using offensive jokes).

This movie is seriously one of the best movies of 2022. It's beautiful in every aspect .. May it be the storytelling , the performances , the direction, the music. I don't know how many times I cried watching this movie . While Badhaai ho was high on laughs , this one is high on emotions . Totally a worth watch !
I loved that scene where Rajkumar actually accepts the pride by wearing the mask ...this particular scene showed that not every lgbtq person needs to act all cheery or loud that the media shows

OMG I'm in love with the concept of this film, the fact that trailers portrays so many emotions and a dynamic not really shown or accepted by the majority of Indian audience makes me want to watch it even more, Bollywood is little by little proving why it's a worldwide thing! It's great that a pride parade is being shown in a mainstream Bolly movie. But that pink and blue flag in that pride parade, is a conservative, anti-pride flag. The makers could have done a simple Google search and figured that out, and thus avoid that conservative pink and blue flag.

In India this is really revolutionary. Normal out of caste marriage is not accepted still.
Very few are where parents give away their control, this would take atleast 2-3 generations.
I am proud of movie makers but audiences even the young ones I have met are hypocrites. My own generations, if I would say I was sooooooo progressive nope that would be lie.
I was in favour of love marriages across caste and religions but about this I had prejudices after some time i support it, but still may be that hesitation is still in me.
Ivan accepting it, but most don't and just flat out go ballistic behind doors, that hypocrites made me to look myself look in mirror.

What a great film. Cleverly balancing the comedy and the emotional situations in an entertaining way. Great acting from the cast, plus great songs and underscore too. It just got everything right. I think time will show it to be an important film.

I just completed this movie and I just want to say this was so freaking WHOLESOME. Hats off the entire team! Loved how they portrayed every character. The storyline was so good and the acting was so well done💜 the ONLY minor complain I would do is that they don't show one freaking kiss I mean I'm a sucker for kisses😆 petition for more kiss scenes in bollywood😆
