It’s disgusting the way corporate treats these bots as if they weren’t a huge part of their history and they weren’t the thing that separates them from every other arcade/pizza place
The message I want to get across with this video is Chuck E. Cheese treats their animatronics like 💩. Although I did get some of them, these animatronics were later destroyed and it’s unfair to destroy such important pieces of history.
I can't believe how terrible they treat their animatronics. What did the band ever do to deserve this? Seriously why can't they just sell them to private collectors
You can really tell how long they have been in that stage. the dust, Names and their rock afire names written in marker on dusty, expired molds that are still attached to them, also Latex remnants on some of their face, probably from old rock afire masks or CU masks that melted over time years ago. their shells probably cracked or worn out by all the nuts, screws and bolts they have on them, Pistons that are worn out and havent been replaced since years ago since CEC stopped making spare parts for all the animatronics, airlines that probably already have dust inside, Cracked paint which some has been peeled off, Dry and old grease splattered over them. nearly 40 years of history inside a costume that covered all of that, CEC Entertainment needs a bit of sympathy with them, and also a care about their value Right now.
RIP Madison, TN 1982-2022. I've been going here since 2015 and last went in August 2022 (after the remodel) and haven't been since. Probably because my local (Bowling Green) is 2.0 so I don't feel the need to ride in the car for an hour to go to another 2.0 store (tbh I went to the Paducah, Kentucky CEC in 2019 and they were already 2.0 and that was a 2 hour drive, but it was "worth it" because it was the first 2.0 I had actually seen.)

What one do you own and what location is this?
The ones that you got, were they destroyed or the same condition at the stage?

Same and my local had a 3 stage so thinking my childhood bots look like this or maybe worst is devastating

they want to keep us away from historic pieces cause they are greedy buffoons.
Awesome footage! Just for everyone who might be wondering, this is the Madison Tennessee location.
When Chuck E. Cheese had its animatronics it was like the original Chuck E. Cheese
