Don't get me wrong, this band is very good-- but why does everyone play Purple Carnival at breakneck speed? It is a MARCH, a march is not a race to the finish line. No, it's not really a concert piece, though many concert groups/wind ensembles play it as such. Check out the Loara '69 version.
@TheDragonmaster18 Southern as well. they play a gr8 deal of marches b4 even touching marching band music everyday. storm and sunshine is really nice . also check out thunder and blazes.

HBCU's use it very fast to show of skill

only FAMU and JSU would play something like this this defenately shows true musicainship
