SPLUFFY TYPHOON & JET PITTS ILLUMINATE BLACKPOOL AIRSHOW 2023 (airshowvision)

In spite of the incredibly challenging conditions at Blackpool Airshow 2023, the pilots involved put on some great displays in awkward blustery weather.
The standout performances for me were the new Jet Pitts flown by Rich Goodwin, and the RAF typhoon FGR4 flown by Matthew Blighty.
This was one of the most awkward and difficult airshow shoots I have ever been involved with and I had to abandon my original position due to wind and try find another . . . but despite the wind and the sun in my face with no hat protection due to it blowing into my face, somehow by a miracle I came away with something of a result . . . and here it is . . .
A breathtaking spluffy display by the Typhoon, and the first time I have ever seen the incredible jet Pitts perform with it's additional thrust generating jet turbines strapped to the side - total controlled madness!!!

Interesting configuration for the jets on the Pitts, but must be terribly noisy for the pilot. Jimmy Franklin's routine in the old jet Waco was entertaining to see, and other pilots have adopted jet biplanes also.

Pilot must have good ear protection - sounded weird when he first put it into a climb and the jet kicked in.

The f16 has the same maneuverability as the F-22 and they’re both very maneuverable
