    I want to tell you I don’t drink any alcohol. (Cannabis is my preference) I agreed to bring a bottle of a visitor’s choice to a party, which happened to be tequila. Using your videos I chose Fortaleza blanco and he and other party guests couldn’t believe how good it was. I still enjoy your videos even if I don’t consume. Thank you!

    Hi Lui, great compilation. I have been checking each drink off after finding the recipes in my notebook, Steve’s book or Shake’n’strain App. I like most of these drinks a lot and make a Mezcal cocktail probably once a fortnight. I heartily agree with your comments on adding the grapefruit peel. I use red grapefruit zest oils frequently for they are the tangiest and most flavoursome of all zests.
    Great to see another full length show from you. I hope your restaurant is doing better than your football team!

    As a tequila and cocktail lover I’m starting to try out mezcal and I find the best way to make it not overpowering with smokey flavor is to add spice like jalapeño slices to the drink to balance all the flavors I would love if you could post some recipes that use mezcal with spicy ingredients

    Hi again Lui, I made the Last Mechanical Art this evening to your spec but equal 40ml parts.
    It was one of 3 that I had not noted before. It is a lovely evening sipper! So rich in flavour but with smoke to the fore from the Mezcal. I love the Naked and Famous too, and continue enjoying 1 to 3 cocktails a day being fully retired. However, I do ration myself to only 1 replacement bottle per week, the more expensive of those will have to wait until my next pension drawdown!

    I just cracked up at the Oaxacanite recipe. You say 3/4 oz of lime and the screen says "1.0 oz (15 ml)" so I guess you can choose the amount pretty freely 🤣 Bu I love this video as I just (finally) got my first Mezcal ever. It's a Del Maguey Vida Classico. Looking forward to trying some of these recipes.

    Love this video Lui, if you ever get the opportunity to go to Guadalajara, there is about 3 hrs away called Calvillo, it's in the state of Aguascalientes and they make a Guava Mezcal with the fruit in the bottle. Cheers mate.

      So I debated including the Oaxaca Old fashioned and probably should've included it. I thought it was more tequila than mezcal but then again I did include cocktails in here that were mixed as well so yeah I probably should have 😂😂

    Awesome video. I'll soon be getting my first bottle of mezcal for my home bar. Del Maguey Vida looks like the go-to mixing mezcal seeing as how every RUclips bartender is using it, but it isn't available where I live. After considering my options and looking up reviews I think I'll choose Montelobos Espadin. Would this be a good mezcal for cocktails?

    • @philc1884
      @philc1884 8 месяцев назад

      I think it's fine for cktails. You want a decent smoke quotient w I think it has although the abv is slightly on the low end for a mezcal - 86pr. What else can you get?
