This will be a really interesting series if you carry on with the 'behind the scenes' theme. I'm curious what gadgets, cameras, mounts etc you favour for on bike footage?
Hi Keira, watched both of you over the years, good insight. I worked with a personal brand consultant for 18 months on a project for the business i work for. The content and work schedule we used was in notion and it was superb.
Interesting to hear how it all started for you both. 11wks in to starting my cycling channel and loving it but massive learning curve. Would love to hear more on how you plan vids, ideas, thumbnails etc. great work, keep it up 🤙
Really interesting to hear how you guys got started and it’s big motivation for me to keep going. For me, I wanted to start a photography focussed YT channel years ago (as that’s my job, so knew I could speak confidently on the subject). Like Lawrence though, I got too caught up in trying to create perfection and having tried to film and edit a few videos, I gave up! I still enjoyed the process of video creation though, so a few years later when I fell in love with cycling for fun, I decided to try again and posted my first proper video of my London to Paris ride, which I posted in late Nov 2022. It took a few more months after that but eventually started posting weekly videos around April last year and, although I still struggle with not attaining perfection, I now fully subscribe to your ‘done is better than perfect’ mantra. I’m a little over 2k subs now and never imagined the channel would grow as quick as it has, when I first started just posting vlogs of my weekly rides. There’s still a long way to go to reach the likes of you guys, Dave Noakes, Katie or Francis but I’m still massively enjoying the process and although it can be a struggle sometimes, the challenge is really rewarding. Loved this video though guys, thanks for posting. Would be great if you could make a series of ‘RUclips creator’ specific vids somehow. 👌🏻
Thank you for this video, both of you I look up to, for becoming a better RUclips channel. Gives you the motivation to carry on, I had 0 confidence when I started but feel a lot more confident now after 18 months of doing it. 😊
A lot of RUclips creators get hung up on the product endorsement/sponsorship thing. Don’t. Just do it and get paid so you can keep doing what you like 👍. Life keeps going and you need to pay your bills…

Good on ya Peter! We know the grind is real sometimes but good on you for sticking at it!

A couple of the originals… love your work 👊🏼👌🏼👏🏼🙏🏻
Did you ever do the red hook crit racing.
Yes! I used to love it, made many red hook videos too :)
@@KeiraMcVitty I only saw one race and that was round the O2 about 5 years ago. And it was raining all day.
Love ya
Just keep in mind that when you & Amy ride Bikes together, keep your Bike & her Bike close together.
Keira! Have you ever thought about doing a RUclips masterclass for people? Think you’d be amazing at it ❤

My life would have to have taken a very sharp downhill turn before I take life advice from Lawrence Carpenter. No thanks.
