Xterra Wellington is tomorrow (Sat 24th Feb). Not entered this year as it's only a week after an Ultra Marathon attempt. Did it last year though in the bike/run section. Then again two weeks later in Rotorua. Lots of fun and hard work. :-)

I didn't even know this series was still around... I remember some ~25 years ago how big it was once Nissan came onboard and guys like Steve Larsen were racing it. It was on cable TV in the states.
In the older video when you said you got sick from an "old moldy flat" my simple American brain thought you meant a flat tire and I went in to panic mode thinking I was putting my health at risk riding tires beyond their freshness date. 🤔
