- We met up with @JohnHill and skated the most unique skatepark in Texas! Roanoke Skatepark has some absolutely insane obstacles mixed in with some great beginner features and even a giant spoon. This was the very first skatepark stop we had in Texas and we were not disappointed! Get ready for an epic skate session and a very honest skatepark review!

Take some advice from me please, protect your head at ALL costs or risk ending up like myself at only age 42.. Could make long list of health issues I have all directly related to repeated head injuries as a kid without a helmet. Wasn't until I got older and had few REAL bad accidents that started wearing one but unfortunately the damage had already been done long before. All it takes is 1 bad knock to the head and forever changes your life. Stay safe and have fun skating.

Braille got me into skate boarding two years ago. Thought it’d be sick one day for them to come to my park less than a mile away and I completely missed em. Hope they come back lol

This was a great video, John gets his shoe(finally, thanks gabe 🙄😆)AK and JH skate and rate the skatepark(seems really clean and has alot of space as well as obstacles)and local shreds with the pros...this is braille at it's finest 😊👌👏 love braille 😎♥️

my grandpa lives in ronoake, and i skate there a lot when i go so it is really cool to see that you guys went there
Of all the parks I've seen you review, this is definitely the best. It's clean, looks well maintained, all the rails were smooth, and there's a great variety. I really like the way they've catered to all skill levels, so beginners can learn safely, and progress at their own pace. I wish I'd had a place like that when I was learning. It looked like there's a nice flow to it, so if you want, you can work on stringing sequences of tricks together. Some of the other parks you've been to just seem like a random, disjointed collection of obstacles scattered around. I also didn't see one of those high/low rails that you always laugh at, with no apparent way of accessing the high part. I assume they're meant to have a ramp leading to the high part, so you can slide the full length.

Southside Skatepark in Houston, Texas is a fantastic indoor park, and North Houston skatepark was the biggest in the U.S. until last year.

Yall should really check out garland skate park, lewisville skate park, and allence park. All those skate park are great and their also great talent too with someone of the skaters
The one day I don't go to the skatepark and y'all were there? That's my hometown spot bro. Worked at the Hawaiian Falls next door too. That park is honestly pretty new. The old park was just like 2 ramps and a fun box. It's leagues better than it used to be

I just recently started skating (been skating for a couple months) and I've been watching yall for a little bit and I've been inspired to try new things
Awesome! What exactly got you interested in starting to skate to begin with?
My friends got me to try it and I really enjoy going to hang out with friends and meet new people and you guys help me learn new things about skateboarding and to learn cool new tricks!
I learned every trick i know from early Aaron kyro vids 10 years later found braille again and picked the board back up I'm a father now tho so I feel too old 😂

What deck do you use, I have trucks wheel and herrings but my board broke.
If youre ever in Chicago, you guys should check out the Grant Skate Park, or even Wilson Skate Park... Grab a slice of Pizza or a Hotdog... I suggest going in late April, or in the late fall,,,, Chicago is either super hot, or super cold elsewise... Sadly you just have to watch your back at night, or on the subway...
