- Red Bull “Origin” event in Venice Beach, Ca. kicks off with the Cash 4 Tricks Bowl Jam (hosted by Tony Alva & Gary Rogers) along with the infamous “Death ☠️ Race” and a legendary “Natas Spin” challenge. somebody please send this video to the city of Ventura city council when they get around to building a skatepark. They actually had one of the best skateparks in the state in the 1779 era and haven't had one since. Bad council members bad.

It's not enjoyable watching rippers try so hard. Just a few of these rippers looked good out there. There's no point being that good if you have no style.
Hard disagree, not a single person here I’d say has bad style imo. At least none of the bowl riders - Gavin Botger has absolutely beautiful style with so much control. That kid doing the back tail shuv had perfect style too. Then there’s Greyson, who has that all-out style every time you see him! Hard to not appreciate that style as well, wish Greyson had more footage over the last 5 years or so. I’m not sure what you consider good style if it isn’t most of these guys, guy with the beard was a tiny bit sketchy but still fun to watch.

looks cool but seeing these sick tricks, falls and collisions without helmets for me it looks like a mirracle that nothing serious is happening.
Greyson Fletcher does it differently and he is 100% correct, he doesn't skateboard, he is skateboarding.
Anything in this bowl is crazy. Those transitions are steep as hell, it's not like any bowl you've ever skated.

I grew up dragging plywood frome construction sites to the venice Pavilion to skate with Dogtown skaters in the old graffiti. Pit I can't imagine how far skating could have been progressed if we had a skate park back in the late 80s early 90s.
