  • Welcome to the video review of the CAIMAN LCG crawler chassis from Gareth Curtis Radio Control (GCRC).
This video will be an overview and review of the chassis kit prior to me building it up in to a full rig which my Element Ecto will be the donor for.

Great review. I like this style, fwiw.
Also, GCRC has no option directly on their website to ship outside the UK. Probably have to message them, which maybe I’ll do after my BOM comes in. 🍻

Thank you my friend. Have a look at Josh’s comment. If they can’t ship this one then maybe try the punks 3d version.

In the states you can get the Stagedive from Punks Custom 3D who I gave the design to as they cut my rails and do my Carbon infused printing.

You sure do a good review video Phill like how you adjust your scoring to suit what your reviewing.
Looks like it should be a capable chassis I especially like the fact the Carbon is a decent thickness .

Thanks Geoff 🤙. The Carbon is great quality, I'm pretty sure it will stand up to some abuse over the coming months/years!

It feels a little harsh to mark it down a full point for such a relatively small thing, but hey. Looking forward to getting the build going. 🤙

3D printed skid for me is a bit of a cheap out and it’s not a cheap setup!

Actually it looks like a punks 3d stage dive chassis. Should be a nice rig tho

Good spot Josh, that makes sense actually as GCRC is a stockist for punks 3d. Perhaps they’ve done a colab/re-badge of the stage dive. Can’t wait to get it built.

It's exactly like Phil said in his comment, it was a collaboration between the two companies.

I had Adam Bravuso of Spare Time Hobbies do the design to my brief as a Capra swap over with custom build options which is why much of the leviathan items are swappable. Brian at Punks Custom 3D agreed to cut rails for me and I gave him the design to sell in America in return which he sells as the Stagedive. I only sell to the UK as my focus is growing and supporting the hobby in the uk.

@@garethcurtis9665 nice one. Can’t wait to get it built and on the rocks. Top job, definitely feels like a better product than my gspeed, I’m really happy with it. 🤙
