This is great info. Short and sweet, but any chance you could zoom in a little? Hard to read the small text.

Thanks for the comment, and noted on increasing my screen size when recording my videos. Glad that you liked this video and I have a similar one coming out shortly that will give you a carriage return as a delimiter instead of a user defined delimiter...

Is there a way to return a text (status) of a cell, putting a criterion to be the most recent record of these statuses ?
For example, in my case I tried to use index + MATCH by putting -1 in the formula to return the last registered value, but the formula seems to discard the match between the values I need and it turns out that when I apply the formula to the column the status values returned are the same for all, as if all the other rows were referring to that single search value.
Is there any other way to return the most recent text/status value when matching values of interest?

Hi Victor, I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to achieve, but you should try an INDEX(COLLECT formula. We have a video on the channel that describes how to complete… please reach out again if this doesn’t work for you

    Zoom your screen dude!

Thanks for the tip. It’s something that I’m aware of and trying to improve. I record on a 27” iMac, so lots of real estate to cover without scrolling too much…

    Thanks for the video.
Is this something that can be used when trying to display interdependencies between three different portfolios of project in a single matrix? e.g. lets say you have 3 sheets (3 portfolios) each with a list of projects. Each sheet has a “Linked to” column to indicate dependancies to other projects in the same sheet or in one of the other 2 sheets. How do you pull this into a matrix to show connections between the 3 different datasets?

Hi Marvel, you cannot use formulas within a Predecessors column, therefore you would need to create helper columns in your matrix sheet using the JOIN(COLLECT formula to bring the results back for each of your Portfolio sheets and then use a JOIN formula to stitch the results together into a single column in your matrix sheet. Hopefully I've understood your issue correctly, but if not feel free to contact us at help@cheetahtransformation.com for further advice....
