Love it. We teach this very, very similarly across Australia too. Love the convergence and mutual understandings/systems that are developing around the world in introducing Parkour.
Hey Ryan. Thanks for these detailed tutorials. There are no gyms in my area that teach parkour/freerunning so your videos are very useful. Thanks again!
Some people call it a safety vault. I prefer to call it a step vault because I think it makes more sense. I also have a term I use called "safety tap" which refers to a progression that can be applied to any vault where you tap your feet on top as a progression toward the actual vault it self.
Hi Ryan. I like your tutorial vids. They are clear and concise, so they' re easy to digest and apply to practice immediately. Keep up the good work, man!
Lovely tutorial! I have mastered it on both sides and now I want to level up. I have a question. How do you get distance with this vault? I have seen some pros doing that. Would love it if you answer.. Thanks! :)

I appreciate the time you're putting into the production quality of these videos. They're some of the best tutorials I've seen.
I've been doing parkour for 3 years and this helped me (the hand facing forward part). Always learning. Love it. Great vid Ryan

no, a safety vault requires less lift of the hips, and the leg that is used as stabilizer is straighter in a safety
(for tagging purposes) I've also heard this called a Safety Vault.

barefoot training for the win!
Nice to see people doing parkour barefoot.

Hey I like the barefoot man!
one problem people do is training with no god damn shoes on...yea good call
That's only a problem for people who don't know how to land.
That's actually the best way, if you actually know about free running and parkour
