I knew most of the basic story, but this video provides some essential deeper details for mega fans like me . Yes, Stevie and Lindsay were certainly responsible for" the greatest band reboot in the history of music" . Interesting that Stevie and Lindsay never even charted with their debut album, and yet when they became the face of Fleetwood Mac, created (along with the others) some of the greatest music ever. Perhaps also one of the greatest examples of synergy in the music world as well.
The story about Stevie Nicks working at Bob’s Big Boy and giving her two-weeks notice rather than quitting immediately after signing the record deal is awesome.
Putting pictures to the imagination nice one brother and I am a UK has never been to LA and probably never will. Anyway you’ve got a new sub here. But Jim Morrison one in that dirty hotel, fantastic another imagination fulfilled cheers keep up the good work
I saw Fleetwood Mac perform in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada the night of Mick’s 70th birthday. There were chills all down my back when the crowd sang “Happy Birthday.” Mick came out from behind his drum kit to bow to the audience and express his gratitude. A night I’ll never forget.
I'm a native southern Californian, moved to LA in 1986 after college for work and got a side gig assisting an antique and art dealer in Beverly Hills with many rich and famous clients. My many experiences dealing with our clients certainly gave me an inside perspective to how many rich and famous people became that way because instead of sitting on their ass talking about their dreams they went out and made them happen. LA is a big city that often all looks the same to the uninitiated until you learn it. Your presentation brings all that together in very honest and personal manner like few others do,.Thank you for producing this!

Thank you for this video! I lived one street below Stevie's house on El Centro. I heard she lived there in the 70's, it went up for sale so I walked through the open house- thanks for confirming that story.
@@RockessentialTim Too bad I was broke when the house went up for sale in 1992-93-what a gem that house is. My girlfriend was living across the street in a cottage that was Van Morrison's at some point. Hallowed ground for certain and you really have a niche!!
that says more about Stevie than you may think. Restaurants often will take someone off the schedule once they have given a two-week notice. That is so they won't try to sabotage the crew with any poisonous attitudes and try to take anyone with them on the way out the door. The fact they let her work to the end means they loved her work and knew she wasn't leaving because she was mad or anything like that.

There's a vibe there that is nowhere else for me. It's one of the reasons I love your videos so much.
Amazing no crap and trash just good information you don’t see this anymore
I would have a hard choice choosing between Stevie Nicks and Linda Ronstadt as my favorite.
Very nice Tim! I always wanted to hear about the beginnings of this band! Thank you!
Fleetwood Mac are nothing if not interesting, right?
thanks for taking us along, your information and familiarity with the areas really adds to connecting with your adventures and the subjects you are highlighting. Thx again.
Thanks for your ever-so-cool comment. Its nice to know you liked it. Rock on!
I am a huge fan of Stevi nicks . And Fleetwood Mac . As a singer songwriter I can really appreciate the work that goes into writeing a song Without playing a instrument. And thank you very much giving me a peek into Stive’s past . Very well done. I am also on RUclips.❤❤❤
Thank you. Saw one of your vids. You have a very nice voice.
Thank you for this video. This is such a treat.
Thank you for watching!
Great work Tim.
great vid as always, thanks H4L!
Our pleasure, thanks!
Keep up the great work Tim...Love your content!
Thanks as always.
I can see I will be binge watching your content since it seems I have missed a few installments. Great journey through Stevie's past. I have to say the Tusk album was such an interesting follow up to Rumours. Sisters of the Moon is a wonderful gem of a song from that album. Should you go up north, perhaps, The Doobie Brothers would be a great subject. Obviously, the Bay area is replete with the haunts of numerous rock bands. Love your videos. Keep up the great work and thank you for your philanthropic efforts. Love Stevie and FM, both a huge part of the soundtrack of my life.
I never really got into Tusk way back when but when I realized I was going to get to tour Village Studios I listened to it a lot. As I mentioned in the vid, it may not be their best record but I think it was their most interesting...
