This was great, been searching for "ways to generate electricity for your home" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Diyadison Penhloe Blaster - (just google it ) ? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for generating your own electricity without the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my colleague got excellent success with it.
Sridhar said in one interview this would allow those with no electricity to essentially have it. A few cell needs a fuel source and grid to supply it. Let's take a look at any state in the US and it's Natural Gas network.
My understanding is that the reaction is at such a high temperature that most of the natural gas hydrocarbons get broken down to individual carbon atoms and pairs of hydrogen atoms which then bond with oxygen to produce CO2 and H2O respectively. There are however some imperfections in the system that result in the build-up of residues inside the fuel cells which is presumably why they have to be replaced after being used for some number of years (kind of like how cell phone batteries get less efficient over the years).
I'M AN EARLY SUPPORTER OF BLOOM AND IT IS REALLY JUST FRUSTRATING TO SEE THAT THEY HAVE ACHIEVED LITTLE COMPARED TO TESLA AND SPACE X. MR ELON BATTERY SUCKS. MR KR BATTERY IS THE FUTURE. I HOPE SOMEDAY THIS TWO LIKED MINDS HELP EACH OTHER ON THIS VERY CRUCIAL ISSUE OF BATTERY.
He introduced this 11 years back. Why still it's not reached common people all over the world? There is no value for such invention if it's not useful for the poor in Africa and asia.
Can anyone share a comparative statement between 1Mw Diesel Generator & Bloom Fuel Cell based generation system of 1Mw so that a common person can understand the cost comparison per kilowatt hour between these two systems
Hi I am giving numbers which are in perceptive with India, diesel generator per unit cost is 20₹ , fuel cell per unit cost is 11 ₹, normal grid power costs 7.4₹
bloom's funding is so slow. WHY because the NATIONAL GRID WILL LOSS IT'S REVENUE JUST LIKE IN AUSTRALIA. they aussie's does not want MR ELON to jump in and solve their problem. THESE PEOPLE KR AND ELON WANTS TO BRING US TO THE FUTURE BUT THE POLITICIAN HOLDS THEM BACK.
ruclips.net/video/f7MzFfuNOtY/видео.html Not a direct answer by any means as this video focuses on hydrogen fuel cell vehicles but it does introduce a lot of the principles of hydrogen energy. My basic understanding is the more times you convert energy the more you lose. Coal fuel plants convert the chemical energy in coal into heat energy which is then converted again into mechanical energy (think spinning turbines) before it is finally converted into electricity. Hydrogen made with electrolysis is really using hydrogen as a battery to store energy before turning it back into electricity. Bloom Energy solid oxide fuel cells are more akin to fossil fuel generators but much more efficient because they convert directly from chemical energy to electrical energy without all the messy conversions between. For a sense of the numbers, Coal fuel plants are usually around 37% efficient while solid oxide fuel cells are around 60% efficient at generating pure electricity and up to 80% efficient if you also use the heat it lets off (you could use that heat to boil water and have steam spin turbines like with coal generator or, say you have a household fuel cell generator (I know, seems far off but I have hope), you could use it to heat your house). This comment is really going off on a tangent but if you are interested in clean energy here is a really cool way to store it: ruclips.net/video/tMLu9Dtw9yI/видео.html
It's been 11 years and no lunch box for us. Sorry my fellow peasants but this is not for us. I remember Chief Executive Officer K.R. Sridhar 100 years ago talking about helping the poor people of the world and stuff, about powering homes with his beach sand battery invention, then GOOGLE, FACEBOOK, DORPA etc. came along and crush his so-called save the peasants ideals for humanity and the green speeches for themselves. All he is now is a PR mouthpiece for big corporations.
Congrats.. Mr.Sridhar stay on gradual rise
Who are they selling to if not the people???? Geee! We already know and that is disgusting 😒 😤 FOR THE PEOPLE!!
60 minutes sold this guy's product as the next big thing 10 years ago. What happened?
@chris not pratt
Why not enough reliability?
@@oktoober1000Sild regarding BLOOM ENERGY's technology depends heavily on a Natural Gas supply. In Southern California, that's a real problem.

cost of this tech is very high as any new inventions comes out
This is what happens so much to humanity for $$$ BULL CRAP is what it is

Can it do opposite, convert electricity to neutral gas? That is the next big thing.
Look up E-fuels if you want to do that.
It's happening ... wait for it ..... ... wait for it ..... NOW!
You should read "The Accidental Superpower","The Absent Superpower" and "Disunited Nations" by Peter Zeihan.
Will do
Was fully expecting to read this and look at his name and expect it to say Peter Zeihan
Fossel fuel burning to create energy, sounds like a dead end, gonna run out relatively soon
Wondering what the by product of this process would be....how is the Natural gas used up?

Until it reaches to every home the company will not be profitable.
I contacted the company about a potential partnership and future development, but it's been more than a year now and still I got no response
This is surprising, look for other companies who are providing similar services.
they partner with fortune 100 companies..
You won't get a response, these peoples are bought out by large corporations.

Bharatamata (Indiamother)is Angry to see Indian ppl working for other countries.😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬
Major suck here....you can see, you cannot buy..,you need to understand....IT IS NOT FOR YOU!!!

A partnership has to be made with the Utility companies as independent MICROGRIDS are the future.
Can it run on pure Hydrogen? Hydrogen produced from electrolysis, powered with electricity produced by photo-voltaic cells with energy from the SUN.
