* In this video, I show you how to perform a hardwired installation, however you can easly wire the same electrical wires from the dishwasher to an electrical cord (provided at your local hardware store) using the same technique. Then you simply plug in the appliance to any standard outlet.

A dishwasher installed without the insulation pads will be noisy & rattling, proper wiring should be install before connecting the electrical box (missing ground wire)

What about the chrome vent exhaust that is next to the faucet on top of the sink? Do they still use those?

What do you do if the adapter that came on the hose with the dishwasher is not quite big enough to go on the garbage disposal? It goes on with partly lots of struggle, but I’m not entirely confident it’s what’s best for the long haul.

Kressa Singh the fits usually tight. Twist and push. Every dishwasher has the same standard size opening.

house just got built, but they forgot the dishwasher, can I still install it? what do I do?

thinking that your drain should NOT be in the same hole as the water line. drain should be more at top to create siphoning ( like siphoning the gas from a gas tank it is higher not lower or you wouldn't be able to siphon gas :) oh you are too young for that old trick lol. Also that white covering on the top of the dishwasher hanging down the sides, should have stayed on it as it helps when it is running to quiet the noise the dishwasher is making :) Anyway have a blessed day.
