I think there are Two types of student in DLSU
The rich kids and the scholars
But idk
I'm neither of them, but here I am, studying in DLSU.

in 2 years we are gonna move to the philippines (from us) and my sister will be going here!! i’m so excited for her. we’re english speaking (fully understand tagalog) and it helps that people here know how to speak english. this is a huge change for us!! i’ll be hopefully graduated by then & i’m hoping to find a job but it might be hard since idk how to speak tagalog well...

@@randellelinner6290 wow, it's crazy how things change. the pandemic affected our lives and we decided to remain here in virginia. i was excited to go to the philippines but we stopped building our apartment/condo there. we started a new business here, so i have no idea when we'll be going to the ph... :(
@asei hey! no, sadly we still haven't gone since i commented this. wow i really wanna visit dubai! that's so cool :) i think you'll do great in the ph if you play volleyball. my dad has recently bought land in the philippines and is hoping to have a house built in 7 years. he wants to retire there. as for me, i start school in january and will probably not be visiting the philippines until 2024/2025 :( we just decided to have a vacay to europe this december though!

@@kyshapongyan7507 girl its still a scam.. every student per course is paying tuiton fee more or less than 74k. Might at lease have some decent chairs and board. I never entered DSLU ganito pala itsura nito sa loob. Maganda pa facility ng FEU and ADU.

Nag enroll ka pa sa DLSU tapos psychology lang naging degree mo. Tagilid yang degree na yan kahit sa US. You have to be the best of the best to compete. You'd be competing with candidates from other schools and even from your own school. Tapos usually kumukuha ng masters mga psychology graduates para lang kamo lumaki chance ma hire dun sa field na gusto nila. Kasi kung hindi ang bagsak mo malamang BPO (call center is pathetic pero there are few roles naman sa BPO that pays a lot) or line of work na walang kinalaman sa natapusan mo.
Kung ako sayo mag shift ka na sa ibang course, preferably STEM. Kung go ka pa rin jan, make sure that you can graduate with latin honors in your batch. If not, wag ka na umasa na ma hire ka sa field ng degree mo. Massive butthurt ang aabutin mo. Kung hindi kaya ng utak mo yung STEM eh ayun lang, "good luck" na lang ang masasabi ko.
Note: Technically STEM ang psychology pero dahil sa sobrang butaw, insinuka ko na sa utak ko as not a "real" STEM degree.
I know you commented this last year and it won't really make any sense to reply but somehow I can tell you that Ate Aika is living the life most of us wanted to even with her choice of course. A life balanced with family, work and her social life. That's why she's an insipiration ☺💚
