Robin Chesterfield same with my rescue cat. When we got her she climbed up the mesh of her cage just to say (a very loud) hello. She’s very similar to poki in behaviour, and is black (with a tiny white spot under her fluff on her back which you can’t really see)
Same with my second cat that I found on the street, but I had her for 2 years now, and with regular feeding and a slow-eating bowl, she is much better at managing her food. She will eat a meal in 2 times and I don't have to hide the first cat bowl as often as before because of second cat

Siamese cats are much easier to train. My flamepoint Siamese knew sit, up, paw, and my favorite, kisses. If I wanted kisses I could go “kisses” and purse my lips, and she would give me a nose kiss. It was super sweet. I miss her. Poke is adorable btw.

And will probably for the rest of his life have the "MUST eat all the food just in case I can't find any later" mentality. He might eventually learn food is not something he has to worry about getting. But I think its unlikely :p

For them food isn't worth fighting over. But because of this Poki is feed in a different room with the door closed. So the two others can take their time and eat. Yeah, he reminded me a lot of my friends half Siam. She was nearly completely black, but his head shape is a good indicator. And this meow! They are really vocal. When I had her for 2 weeks, she was meowing all the time. But she's clever. she would bring Q-tips and could open the box, no matter where it was. Siams and half Siams will find a way.
My eldest, Spot (in my user pic), looked almost exactly like Poki, and when we adopted her, we were told she was part Siamese. Everything Poki ticks, she ticked, but she had yellow / green eyes as well. When she was older, she meowed all the time, and Poki sounds so much like her. It's been odd seeing Poki, as when his face is away from the screen, he looks so much like Spot. She passed away at the great age of 17, having had a wonderful life. Poki has a great life, and I know he'll bring you lots of joy.

Siamese cats can also be a bit protective and more than a little territorial. One of my parents' neighbors had a rather large Siamese cat that had all of the neighborhood dogs cowed. None of them would even go through the cat's front yard.

My two youngest cats both know how to sit and both of them walk on a leash. Cats cam lern extremely fast, you just have to try it and start young with them. My youngest is a little over 5 months old, he picked it up from his older brother in like 2 days, he knew really fast what we ment. Even older cats can learn something new.
+Nibbit I have two bengal cats, they are known for learning fast and beeing really energetic. Pockey reminds me of my younger boy, he can't sit still for two seconds and follows me around everywhere. My older boy is a lot calmer, just like Haku, I'm trying to teach both of them to give me the paw at the moment.
O ya, he's part Siamese, can tell by the nose profile, the bump and downward angle on the snout, also his ear size to head ratio and ear shape and placement, low and wide. He does have slight almond eyes as well, which is a better indicator than color, and those long froggy hind legs, can't deny those.

my cat was part siamese and WOW he was SOOOO loud. so vocal and so loud. he totally failed intelligence wise, though. he was the dimmest creature, but super placid. he was just a teddy bear with a heart beat. but dim as a penny bulb, except when it came to getting everyone in the house utterly wrapped around his paw. he was also huge on licking, but only me, nobody else.

I never would have thought Poki was part Siamese but now that it's been pointed out, I see so many similarities with him and my roommates cats who are Oriental Siamese!! But omg Poki learnt sit?? I thought cats were too high and mighty to follow orders from a human 😱

We taught our kitty to give kisses on our noses before she can start eating her food =).
My two youngest cats both know how to sit and both of them walk on a leash. Cats cam lern extremely fast, you just have to try it and start young with them. My youngest is a little over 5 months old, he picked it up from his older brother in like 2 days, he knew really fast what we ment. Even older cats can learn something new.
Oh yeah, both of mine are also leash trained =).
+Nibbit I have two bengal cats, they are known for learning fast and beeing really energetic. Pockey reminds me of my younger boy, he can't sit still for two seconds and follows me around everywhere. My older boy is a lot calmer, just like Haku, I'm trying to teach both of them to give me the paw at the moment.

O ya, he's part Siamese, can tell by the nose profile, the bump and downward angle on the snout, also his ear size to head ratio and ear shape and placement, low and wide. He does have slight almond eyes as well, which is a better indicator than color, and those long froggy hind legs, can't deny those.
