I just love the indepth look at the damage ranges and stuff. I get that the graphics aren't that easy to interpret with the footage running, but I still think that this kind of depth isn't necessary for every species. Probably best reserved for videos like this where there is a lot to look into.
Agreed. I love the in-depth look, and it's good that he can use this stuff for future reference, but yeah, it definitely isn't needed for every Pokémon left. But it *can* help in showing why he did or didn't do something. "Why didn't you use 3 swords dance in the [insert character here] fight?" "Because I only needed 2, here's the ranges (clicks button to show) and I knew the next fight I would likely need 3, and with only 5 PP left this was the best option. It becomes more consistent with 3 but it's still fine with 2 usages"
I prefer the previous version of how you just showed the damage ranges sometimes for the second playthrough. I appreciate the in-depth look into the software (I also do programming), but overall I think the standard layout with your usual commentary makes for a more entertaining video.
I second that. I don’t need to see the damage ranges, hearing him say them is more than enough. Especially because I’m watching on my phone, now I just can’t see anything 😂
I’m so excited to see Poliwhirl tomorrow. I am convinced it will crush the game, especially with optimization. It simply has every tool it needs. It starts with Hypnosis and Water gun, then gets Mega Punch, Bubblebeam and Body Slam to sail through the early game. After that you get access to Ice Beam and Psychic in the mid game before getting Amnesia and Surf just in time to trivialize Blaine and Giovanni. Also it is faster than Poliwrath, so it crits more often and has a medium slow growth rate. I delayed all rare candies until Lance with minimal trouble giving a really strong finish.
I genuinely appreciate the effort you put in to your videos (and your streams), it makes me very happy that someone loves a game that I love so much that they're willing to do these kind of analyses for every Pokemon. That said, I do prefer the older style. While seeing all the numbers is great, especially in specific scenarios, having them out in the open all the time would take away from a lot of the visual charm I've grown accustomed to when it comes to your videos, something that I've found as somewhat of a "comfort food" so to speak. Still, the fact that you're willing to listen to feedback and try new things is a beautiful thing and it makes me glad that I found this channel. Keep up the hard work and thank you and your team for everything.
One of the interesting things about gen1 is that the much more limited selection of moves mean the different types have clearer identities than in later games. It feels like Game Freak really wanted Grass to be all about stalling and status conditions: it would stop you attacking with sleep and paralysis and keep itself alive while whittling your health away using draining moves and leech seed. I always felt that was why Bulbasaur got leech seed before it got vine whip: you're supposed to seed Brock's pokemon and then use growl a bunch so that he just can't do enough damage to ever take you out, and so learn that just hitting hard isn't the only way to win.
The problem is that there's a lot of really weird stuff that's inflicted on individual Pokemon by this. I agree with what you say in theory, but in practice it bears out that a lot of Pokemon end up with no real identity at all.
I loved the extra damage range explanations in regards to your voiceover (you do the numbers better than anyone), but visually it was a less ideal experience to watch. Just the lack of the clock alone during most of the second play-through lessened the dramatic tension quite a bit in terms of storytelling too. That being said, this was still A-level material as always.
THE EPISODE IS “i feel skitty!” from advanced challenge. Team rocket has just stolen scents / aromatherapy and is getting in the meowth blimp and are literally escaping and then james sees a bunch of weepinbell and says “ahh weepinbell!! okay change of plans we want the weepin bell now” LMAO
On the eighteenth day of December, Scott's Thoughts gave to me: One big mouthed plant The Johto legendaries in kanto The Land shark that overshadows Flygon Godzilla destroyed by a punch The best starter trio Three motherly pokemon The Giants of Gen One A deer and a giraffe The two pink blob matchup The Anubis dog herself A big cuddly boy in Kanto Two Airlane Dragon Pokemon Three Bulky Normal Types The Gen I Middle Stages An OP Eevee in Yellow An OP Pikachu in Yellow A slow level up group ice tree And the slowest hitmon brother
there’s an episode of the anime that has one of my favorite scenes ever. Team Rocket is on the hunt for pokemon but is being pursued at the same time & as they’re running they encounter a horde of weepinbell. James goes full brock mode *gasps* WEEPINBELL JESSIE MEOWTH FORGET THE MISSION THIS IS OUR MISSION NOW- weeeepinbelllllll💕✨ *jessie drags him away*
I think this is a bit overkill with the indepth look. Especially because the battle screen jumps alot. I glanced away from the screen during the in-dept analysis and had to take time to understand what I was looking at again, sucking me out of the video
i obviously don’t think it’s necessary at all and would be the complete antithesis to the rest of this series but it would tickle me pink to see you do this run with the player modded as james
I liked the style of the closer look at the damage ranges. Idk if it is less interesting when it's a run with less stuff and decisions happening but here I liked it a lot.
@ double edge has its drawbacks. The recoil damage softens you up and makes you more likely to get a reset if you have an unlucky crit. It’s also annoying that you have to buy more potions and heal after fights. That said, 100 base power 100% accuracy still makes it worthwhile for bellsprout and weepingbell imo. You can also keep a physical move like acid on the set and only use double edge on the beefier targets
Love daily December!!! Thank you Scott and team!!! The holidays are tough this year but these videos give me a little joy. Thanks again for all your content!!!
Thanks for the in-depth look at the router. I know obviously a lot of people here are clear that they prefer your usual format, and I'm with them that generally I think that is best - but I just want to add that I always value changing things up like this for the odd video because I think that just gives this one something a little unique. A bit of variety in your presentational style is a good thing and it keeps things fresh and less predictable, and hey, it also tends to generate engagement on your videos!
Regarding the router info-- I'd say it makes sense to pull it up when there's some strange battle calculus you're trying to illustrate for us, but I don't think it's something we need to see all the time.
I appreciate the in-depth look at the RBY XP router I was definitely confused by all the numbers that popped out of seemingly nowhere. Love the videos keep up the good work! :D
I feel like in Gen 1, learnset is king. Weedle would probably get a surprising time if it had Amnesia and Psychic for example. Give it Amnesia, Psychic, Swords Dance and Body Slam, and it'd probably get a decently good time.
One thing I would suggest, rather than moving the battle screen you have free real estate in the top left corner where you have the toggles for the filters. Other than showing it to us I dont believe it was really used. This would keep a constant spot meaning slightly less editing, and we can focus on your mouse or the gameplay without a "eye flick" due to something changing places (now that might just be my ADHD lol). But I absolutely love the new segment. I was one who was confused about the route comparison in the past and this was fabulous!
Great run! The Spreadsheet is a little bit toooo much numbers all at once. I prefer the small inserts of DMG ranges with the fullscreen footage, makes it easier for me personally to digest it better.
Thanks for all your work Scott. The love and craftsmanship you put in is great. Please don't spend so long on the damage range and routing software interfaces. These are nice to see at key moments but they're offputting if they're there for minutes at a time.
Small suggestion for the other pokemons health in the software. Maybe show them also as a progressbar behind. Basically showing the % as how much of the bar is consumed (though capped between 0-100) That should help more visualizing things.
If Poliwhirl isn't at least an A by the end of its optimization I'd be shocked. It's significantly bulkier and hits noticeably harder than Poliwag and has the same great movepool, except it starts with Water Gun and Hypnosis instead of waiting until 16 for the latter and 19 (or the TM) for the former, and it technically gets Body Slam and Amnesia later... but only by a few levels. EDIT: Also, no, Sleep is just generally good, like, I get annoyed when I have a team without it as an option in any Pokemon game. Part of that is that it makes catching Pokemon extremely easy though.
I really like the new style of going through follow up attempts! I've used RBY EXP router before so I'm pretty familiar with how everything works, but understandably not everyone is. It's a good change, imo.
If you decide to keep in the routing shots in the future, maybe placing the footage in the upper left where we don't really need to see the filter information. It might help to have a consistent spot for it.
Hey Scott. Great effort as always. I know how much you hate recoil damaging moves like double edge but I do think they earn their place in some runs. With the lack of an effective physical move, weepinbell suffered in the run. Double edge could have solved a lot of problems. For example 1 shotting the arbok/golbat in Agatha's figbt. I really do wish you include them in some of the runs even though they bring a new variable to the equation (recoil damage). Again, antastic effort in this month. Keep it up.
Minor thing regarding the exp router footage display; it would be extra effort required in editing, but very nice if everything was slightly shaded over/darkened out except the relevant display area of the exp router at the time. (Or zooming to the relevant area, but I think shading/highlighting would be visually preferable for maintaining aspect ratio.) The effort that goes into the production and visual clarity is always appreciated! \o/
I'm looking forward to Poliwhirl, but I can't help wonder how Weepinbell would have run with double-edge as an attacking move, with mega drain to heal back the damage. Wish'd you'd try a follow-up run like that
10 PP attacking move plus growth. Weepinbell is a grower not a shower. Also, I expect it to perform worse than its evolution because it isn’t just given a perfect early game move set.
Personally I've never found the damage range box hard to follow, seems fairly straight forward to me. I am enjoying the fact that you're talking about things like move econony more than you usually do. However I'm finding it very hard to focus on the game being played. The screen is just a little busy for me.
Great video as always! Love seeing the in-depth RBYXP router stuff, but I don't think it's necessary in every video. Now that I've seen it done, I don't necessarily need to see it again. Maybe it'll be best done occasionally in videos that are shorter already, just to ensure that more of the audience has had a "tutorial" such as this before.
1:32 speaking of sleep users I wonder if Parasect had a base speed around 100 would it be busted like Mewtwo or would it's weaknesses still keep it bottom tier.
Personally I think Parasect with base 100 speed would be busted as heck. Sleep powder is already a great threat at 75%, 100% accuracy on a sleep move on a Pokemon with base 100 speed - with slash on its Moveset - in gen 1 would be absolutely insane.
A problem with the Vine Whip/Absorb theory is that Mega Drain has 10 PP, so Absorb having 20 PP makes sense (well, maybe Absorb was supposed to have 15 like Leech Life, but definitely more than Mega Drain's 10), so it's very unlikely there was a PP switch.
With the end of the yellow series coming is there any plans for a dedicated video for a giant analysis of performance, obviously not going over every pokémon but maybe just going over certain aspects pokémon have , best performing types, mono types vs dual types, special vs physical vs mixed and things of the sort
I really liked seeing the router as you explained, but I understand if a lot of people thought it was a little esoteric for them. I think your average subscriber is probably a big enough nerd to enjoy seeing stats that way though. Maybe an in depth explanation of how you route would make good members content?
Regarding the Routing software shots, you may want to stick to a screencap mode and blow it up to highlight the relevant data. If you aren't on a full screen, it's harder to read the font. I can imagine it being nearly illegible on phones.
Regarding the using the interface to examine damage ranges and whatnot, I think it's really cool and informative, but it's going to become super repetitive and a time sink if you have to explain it in every video for new viewers. If you decide to include them in future videos, I'd suggest making a short video explaining how it works and is laid out, then link it in the description and tell viewers to check it out if they want a better understanding. Also, you've recently been emphasizing not having enough time to do as many playthroughs as you'd like, and it makes me wonder if implementing some sort of super-scoring system would help you save time while reliably getting times you're satisfied with? Perhaps you could have the transitions between midgame and late game be your cutoff points, and if a pokemon transitions into the midgame or late game with the same move set and (roughly) the same amount of exp in multiple different runs, you could take your best times from the early, mid, and late game and treat them as one singular run. I know this could get complicated and would likely need to be refined as you do continue to run more pokemon, but from what you showed with the RBY router, it seems like it'd be manageable and could save you a lot of time-and frustration!
Before watching: Weepinbell is actually quite a bit worse than its evolution. Not just in regards of stats, but also moves that it learns. Victreebel starts out with Razorleaves, while Weepinbell only has Vinewip. Still good, but significantly worse. But even more: Weepinbell can't learn Bodyslam! That's certainly an issue, Bodyslam is pretty damn great as a physical move. Its stats are similarly distributed as Victreebel, just all of them quite a bit worse. But it still gets Swordsdance and Sleeppowder, so at the end of the day, it will do really, really good. But it won't be able to do what Victreebel does, it won't get that high to the top. It will probably be one of the best not-fully-evolved pokemon. My guess is: Upper B-tier or lower A-tier. After watching: Certainly a bit worse than I thought. The fact that it can't learn Bodyslam just hurts a lot. No good physical move, despite Swordsdance just kind of sucks. Still, B-tier. Not actually bad, just a bit disappointing. I'm actually not sure it "can" do a lot better. Yes, hypothetically you can bring the time down, but given how consistent its follow-up playthroughs were, it just seems like the 47 minute marks seems to be the reasonable time for this pokemon, unless you get really, really lucky.
Have you ever thought of doing a combination metric of your best splits and labeling that as an ideal/perfect playthrough time? For instance your best Brock split plus your best Misty split plus your best surge etc to give an idea of what is possible if everything goes right
I have thought about it. I am wary of adding complexity to an already complex format / production… plus it’s a bit arbitrary? At least that’s how it feels for me.
Personally I love the graphs and in depth damage ranges, but I understand the concern of those graphs overtaking the gameplay, so my suggestion would be this: on your follow up playthrough(s?) where you want to use the damage ranges and events, keep the main game play in the center at the size it normally is, just replace the side graphics with the damage ranges on the right and events along the left, swapping between damage ranges of your Pokémon/opposing Pokémon as you feel necessary.
I found the in-depth look into the software very interesting. But as a mobile user, it's very hard to read. So I would prefer not keeping it open all the time.
i like the indepth look at the damage ranges but would suggest to leave the footage from the playthrough in one spot perhaps top left corner as it moving around was a tad anoying when trying to watch it.
Hmm, still watching the first playthrough and wondering if Scott is going to try using Growth to set up not to use a Grass move, but to get the badge boost on attack to speed up the Wrap strats? It won't work on every fight, but I feel like setting up a few on safe mons would save at least some time/uses of wrap, thus speeding up everything.
I wonder - could there ever be a case to be made for using "Cut"? Considering that you want a physical move, but your options are very limited. This may allow for adding Cut at any point, where it's useful?
Out of curiosity, would Double-Edge have been able to replace the missing Body Slam? With Sleep Powder to block taking extra damage and Mega Drain for recovery, it might speed up some of the battles over Wrap spam, no?
I’ll leave it to someone else to try this. Really not my style. Also, you can’t get Double-Team until after the section of the game where you lose the most time due to spamming wrap (the early game). Acid is decent after that.
all this sleep stuff makes me want to see a backport of a pokemon with Spore in it's moveset (or at least something like Breloom where it gets it "via move reminder") could even make it a level 1 move just to see if fighting types CAN be redeemed in Gen1
Okay, I have to ask: do you pick and choose what name goes on which Pokemon in the credits? Because seeing Ninetales with "UpscaleFurryTrash" absolutely sent me!
It was interesting to see behind the curtain, however, the screen with numbers, footage, and voice over is information overload. Your current overlay is PERFECTLY balanced. I would do less of the data screen sharing during runs, and maybe add a section at the end of runs breaking down some of the more interesting pivot points for a play though with stats. Massive data screens are super cool, but not for everyone and likely more niche. Let the runs and your voice share the story, then share the data and curtain pull for the end for anyone who wants to stick around for it. Oh, and remeber that I am just 1 guy and 1 opinion. At the end of the day this is your show. Your my favorite poke tuber and have crushed it from the begining. Do what makes you happy.❤
I watch on a (large) phone, the RBY router text is too small to read without zooming or putting it to my face. I prefer the damage ranges just narrated and watching the battles.
I'm I tripping or is Poliwag higher tier than Poliwrath? ok I checked their movesets and it makes more sense for Poliwag to beat Poliwrath due to Amnesia. I expect Poliwhirl to be Majestic.
I like the in-depth info, but it does take away from the enjoyment vibes I usually get from the videos. Also having the game footage move around so much and being so small is way more disorienting than any of your previous deep dives into numbers.
How you display the damage ranges doesn't look that good. Probably the better solution would be to display what you are talking about in the place where the moveset is usually.
I often think, is growth worth the set up on some battles? Can you 1 hit the stayu with vine whip and 2 hit the starmie without growth and save 2 seconds?
Is Mega Drain actually outdamaging Razor Leaf at any point? I know you can't badge boost Razor Leaf but Mega Drain is barely even used. I can't help but wonder if it'd help anywhere. Great runs.
Gonna go a bit against the grain and say that I rather like the new style with going in depth with the numbers, but I do have another criticism related to that. See, I'm frequently watching these on my phone at work when the going is slow and the data is simply too small to read even in full screen. This applies to when you just briefly cut in the XP Router numbers also. Luckily the voice over is usually pretty clear about what's going on, but for the sake of readability I think a "big picture mode" for the software could be helpful. Or just zooming in more when pulling those numbers up, lol.
I just love the indepth look at the damage ranges and stuff. I get that the graphics aren't that easy to interpret with the footage running, but I still think that this kind of depth isn't necessary for every species. Probably best reserved for videos like this where there is a lot to look into.
I second this👆
Agreed. I love the in-depth look, and it's good that he can use this stuff for future reference, but yeah, it definitely isn't needed for every Pokémon left. But it *can* help in showing why he did or didn't do something.
"Why didn't you use 3 swords dance in the [insert character here] fight?"
"Because I only needed 2, here's the ranges (clicks button to show) and I knew the next fight I would likely need 3, and with only 5 PP left this was the best option. It becomes more consistent with 3 but it's still fine with 2 usages"
Scott I just want you to know I really enjoyed your singing along to the silly music time. It was chef's kiss.
I prefer the previous version of how you just showed the damage ranges sometimes for the second playthrough. I appreciate the in-depth look into the software (I also do programming), but overall I think the standard layout with your usual commentary makes for a more entertaining video.
Definitely a great one off video. I'm glad I got to see it but definitely don't feel like I need to again.

It worked for me! I adore leech seed with all my heart and soul and Venusaur and its toxic leech seed is the main reason why.

I was thinking the same ahaha, cmon Scott lol
You must not be a fan from 4 years ago, lol
On the eighteenth day of December, Scott's Thoughts gave to me:
One big mouthed plant
The Johto legendaries in kanto
The Land shark that overshadows Flygon
Godzilla destroyed by a punch
The best starter trio
Three motherly pokemon
The Giants of Gen One
A deer and a giraffe
The two pink blob matchup
The Anubis dog herself
A big cuddly boy in Kanto
Two Airlane Dragon Pokemon
Three Bulky Normal Types
The Gen I Middle Stages
An OP Eevee in Yellow
An OP Pikachu in Yellow
A slow level up group ice tree
And the slowest hitmon brother
Greetings from Greece,
Amazing work my friend!
I wish you happy holidays and may yor love, for Pokemon, never fail.

We’ve seen some amazing character growth in 2024. For 2025, we just need Scott to start using recoil moves!
I second and third this! Scott’s play is genuinely brilliant but I think sometimes a recoil move genuinely is the best choice even with the hit to HP.
Seriously, this should have included a double-edge run
Agree 100% I would at least like to see an explanation of why double edge isn’t the right approach
@ double edge has its drawbacks. The recoil damage softens you up and makes you more likely to get a reset if you have an unlucky crit. It’s also annoying that you have to buy more potions and heal after fights.

@@ZealousPawn well said, context is certainly everything for when to use a move like Double Edge
Love daily December!!! Thank you Scott and team!!! The holidays are tough this year but these videos give me a little joy. Thanks again for all your content!!!
I'm... kind of surprised that there were people that claimed that the damage ranges were unclear. I thought they were clear enough.
Thanks for the in-depth look at the router. Thanks for all your work Scott. The love and craftsmanship you put in is great.

I am hyped for Todays Video!!!
Thanks for evrything Scott.
I like the new Data Analys.
Your great!!!
Cut could be used as a psuedo "body slam" paired with swords dance, and vine whip
I wasn't sure on this before watching the video, but after seeing how much Wrap was doing, I'm sold.
Hell yea excited for tomorrow! I've been hearing you mention poliwhirls potential many times waiting for the video. Let's goo haha
I like the play through program. It’s straightforward and helps better understand why you play the way you do in battle
I'm delighted that your voice is sounding strong bruz.
I've heard this line was really good because Growth is incredible, so I assume it'll do well.
Small suggestion for the other pokemons health in the software.
Maybe show them also as a progressbar behind. Basically showing the % as how much of the bar is consumed (though capped between 0-100)
That should help more visualizing things.
I prefer to see small spreadsheet to compliment game footage compared to excel file with a small screen visualizing calculations
I'll be honest every time Scott said "Will Weepinbell" I heard "Wil WheatonBell"

Poison types are dominating the top of your tier list. They may stink competitively, but you're doing well with them.
I really like the new style of going through follow up attempts! I've used RBY EXP router before so I'm pretty familiar with how everything works, but understandably not everyone is. It's a good change, imo.
25:06 Who else continued dooting and deeting the rest of the song? ...Just me? ...man y'all too serious
Hey I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos. :)
Phew. One of my all time favorites. I love this guy
The routing was great, loved it
Minor thing regarding the exp router footage display; it would be extra effort required in editing, but very nice if everything was slightly shaded over/darkened out except the relevant display area of the exp router at the time. (Or zooming to the relevant area, but I think shading/highlighting would be visually preferable for maintaining aspect ratio.)

Me trying to see the second playthrough: "what is this? A screen for ants?"
@@thomaswilliams1533 it needs to be at least… 3 times bigger than this! *yeets phone*
16:25 : no you couldn't have knocked out the Rival's Cloyster with 6 boosts there *because you crit here!* It bypassed your special boosts!
Great video as always! Didn’t love the new format though as it’s hard to see the actual gameplay
Personally I've never found the damage range box hard to follow, seems fairly straight forward to me. I am enjoying the fact that you're talking about things like move econony more than you usually do. However I'm finding it very hard to focus on the game being played. The screen is just a little busy for me.
Just lacking Body Slam alone pretty much confirms it will be more like Bellsprout than Victreebel but we'll see.
Scott. Invert your mouse color scheme. It's an accessibility option. Makes it easier to see when you have dark on dark
I don't know why this thought popped up but I imagined at the start of this video Scott just grinding TCG Pocket for dayz 🤣
16:25 since you crit +6 wouldnt matter no?
Is this Starmie? No this is Patrick.
I always fast forward when Scott shows the damage ranges 😅
16:38 perfect run ends here, F in the chat Press F to pay respects
5:45 just like the last video I feel like a literal child for cracking up at this
With the end of the yellow series coming is there any plans for a dedicated video for a giant analysis of performance, obviously not going over every pokémon but maybe just going over certain aspects pokémon have , best performing types, mono types vs dual types, special vs physical vs mixed and things of the sort
I think I’ll continue to prefer your usual overlay to the RBY xp router view. I really feel like I need the big timer in the corner especially.
I know this could get complicated and would likely need to be refined as you do continue to run more pokemon, but from what you showed with the RBY router, it seems like it'd be manageable and could save you a lot of time-and frustration!
yaay, gen1! ty for the content, Scott!
Before watching:
Weepinbell is actually quite a bit worse than its evolution.
After watching:
Certainly a bit worse than I thought.
This is easily Bruno’s worst performance this month, but he got close, lol.
I like this. But suggestion: find a way to keep the game screen static so people can zoom in
Personally I love the graphs and in depth damage ranges, but I understand the concern of those graphs overtaking the gameplay, so my suggestion would be this: on your follow up playthrough(s?) where you want to use the damage ranges and events, keep the main game play in the center at the size it normally is, just replace the side graphics with the damage ranges on the right and events along the left, swapping between damage ranges of your Pokémon/opposing Pokémon as you feel necessary.
Love seeing how RBY XP router works or how you’re working it
Least suspicious Scott Bruno Introduction (TM)
I found the in-depth look into the software very interesting. But as a mobile user, it's very hard to read. So I would prefer not keeping it open all the time.
i like the indepth look at the damage ranges but would suggest to leave the footage from the playthrough in one spot perhaps top left corner as it moving around was a tad anoying when trying to watch it.
Poliwag is so broken, poliwhirl is gonna go crazy
Hmm, still watching the first playthrough and wondering if Scott is going to try using Growth to set up not to use a Grass move, but to get the badge boost on attack to speed up the Wrap strats? It won't work on every fight, but I feel like setting up a few on safe mons would save at least some time/uses of wrap, thus speeding up everything.
I wonder - could there ever be a case to be made for using "Cut"? Considering that you want a physical move, but your options are very limited. This may allow for adding Cut at any point, where it's useful?
I am totally in love with the in depth explanation, but I love math, so I'm probably the minority here ahahahahah
Acid is decent after that.
all this sleep stuff makes me want to see a backport of a pokemon with Spore in it's moveset (or at least something like Breloom where it gets it "via move reminder")
could even make it a level 1 move just to see if fighting types CAN be redeemed in Gen1
Yup. Poliwrath gets the short straw in gen1. Don’t worry! I’ll re run it in 2025 and get it some better results.
Hey Scott, at 34:06 you got a crit on the Cloyster and that's why you didn't one shot there.
I often think, is growth worth the set up on some battles? Can you 1 hit the stayu with vine whip and 2 hit the starmie without growth and save 2 seconds?
You're fantastic at pp management
dude, we all conserve our PP to last longer
Scott, you seem to be running into a lot of problems related to having a small PP recently. I hope it gets better for you as the year clears out.
Is Mega Drain actually outdamaging Razor Leaf at any point? I know you can't badge boost Razor Leaf but Mega Drain is barely even used. I can't help but wonder if it'd help anywhere. Great runs.
You should have the pointer be the Pokémon that you’re featuring in the video, if you continue this method!
I very much prefer the deep dive into the data with the run being small.
