"Proceed with caution as you enter the symphony; degrees of punishment increase intensely..." Masta Killa has the delivery of a college professor at times. Very underrated MC👍👍
also reads like a coroner's report.
love that!
"War's extremely serious and it saddens me
To have to take things to deadly measures
And have you measured and shot for no pay
It's assassination day I stalk my enemy like prey
Tranqued by deceptional sounds that deceives
And lures MC's to the lair
With a mic-like bait, then awaits to be bitten by greed
Temptation tempts my victim to proceed
Forward, ignorance wouldn't allow retreat
You'd rather pursue death than admit defeat"-Masta Killa
Nows whose best to describe in, what i specialise in, murderous rhyming, constantly
In climbing, my mind spits with a enormous kickback, your brain couldn't absorb the impact.
Tied with the glaciers of ice verse as my fav masta killa verse
Disorderly conduct from the crowd is the feedback
Give Masta Killa his flowers! Masta Killa has delivered some of the sickest lyrics from the Wu-Tang Clan. He's a deadly ninja lyrical assassin more than a samurai.
Facts
Samurai are held in higher status than ninjas.
I agree with everything you said, except deadly ninja, all of these men are the shoguns of Shaolin, the leaders, the samurai, ninjas are basic troops, samurai and shoguns are the highest regarded title one could’ve held in feudal Japan
@@ashwilliams4253great to know
@@ashwilliams4253 Yet Masta Killa _is_ a ninja! He is the most humble and loyal Wu member, by far. He is basic troops. Can't have 9 shoguns and no troops. MK with Allah Math, Streetlife, Cap (to some extent) - those are the ninjas of the clan. Respect
No Said Date will always be a classic Wu Tang solo record
Absolutely
Last Drink and Silverbacks were my favorite songs on the album 🥷👐
Very underrated project
Masta Killa’s verse on “Glaciers of Ice” is one of the best verses ever!
All of his verses. I love his subject matter and odd rhyme schemes
@@infomatrix7394can hear gza influence...
Great dialogue between these two brothers. Masta Killa is definitely underrated in the rap game.
truth
Our Wu bingo card is almost full! More Wu coming -- tell your friends!
i know DECK round 2 IS COMING SOON!
Need that ghost!!!!

NEED THAT KILLAH PRIEST
"Day 2 breaks its a stormy Monday. My ninjas lay in revines and ditches. Underneath shrubs and leaves, they breath thru underwater reefs. The enemy walks above The Clan remains SUBterrain in mud!" Masta Killa, from 1112, Beneath The Surface, GZA.
Can't get more underground than that verse! Unforgetable. Thank you Masta Killa!
Masta Killa is by far my favorite Wu-Tang swordsman!!
This ain't an 85 affair made clear/ when the gods get on to perform storms blew up/ busied up/ causing the crowd to self-destruct/ killa bees 🐝 stinging something while I reveal science~Dual of the Iron Mic 🔥🔥🔥🔥
💥💥💥💥💥💥
He always dropping science 🧬
Love masta killa one of the best his delivery style is ultra composed ain't budgin for nuthin so fuckin dope
Back in the early days of Wu, Masta Killa NEVER SPOKE during interviews.
It always reminded me of the old saying-
“A WISE MAN ONCE SAID NOTHING”.
But when He got on stage,
He was the perfect example of what it means to Show & Prove.
Yooo super facts sometimes I forgot he was in the room😂😂😂
Great chemistry of these two so different characters! Masta the humble, soft spoken, modest, unassuming Master - and Talib just being Talib…
I've been listening to Wu-Tang since I was a kid in 1993.
Something that I find interesting is how they've always conducted themselves like humble respectable men.
Out of all the Wu-Tang interviews... no rumors or immaturity comes out like it does with today's rappers.
Masta Killa's Visions verse is my favorite from him!
love that observation -- so true!
Masta Killa is like that rare samurai that you have to travel far to reach and he just swings his sword once but he decapitates everyone, and then retreats back to his lair.
perfect comment -- no notes
Loving these Shaolin interviews thanks Talib,
Still bumping that train of thought album 2 this day
Masta killa is so fucking dope.
Intelligent king right here for real for real!!!
It's crazy how the N.O.I is the biggest reason I started listening to MF DOOM and Wu Tang my dad had a copy of Cappadonna the pillage and the Tical album I played both of them albums all through highschool!!!
As Salaam Alaikum! Yes our Supreme Wisdom Lessons; in the N.O.I. are the foundation for many many emcees…
@@99alfailiwaqain51 peace to you God!! I remember seeing Islam in the early 90s All over hip hop!! One of the peoples army brothers showed me madlib and MF Doom first joints!!
@@mauricemartin7026 Peace To The Gods! Yessir; go back to 85 and Justice with his single and album; produced by Mantronix. Justice had a dope album he was dropping Mathematically inspired lyrics! He also had the best verse on “Self Destruction “ in my humble opinion! Talon give Justice his flowers please ahkee..
Keep these Wu interviews coming!
Facts love RAE, CAP, U-GOD, and now MASTA
on it!
I remember meeting Killa at Toads Place in New Haven CT years ago, we chopped it up a little, i even asked him if he knows about 9th wonder beats😂, he a good brother and one of the illest MC's ever
Yo he sounds like a smooth talking humble G for real for real.
Big up Toads place here in CT
The high chief Jamel Irief takes the stage.
Another great interview Masta Killa doesn’t get much love but give him his flowers 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
he deserves them!
My favorite Wu MC
Masta killa on the afu ra song mortal kombat was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
"school" wayyyyyyyyyyy underrated and "money come first"
Masta Killa has the coldest 🥶 verse on Triumph 📣📣📣
93 million miles away from/came one to represent the nation/ this is a gathering of the masses that come to pay respect to the Wu-Tang ~Masta Killa

Finally an interview with Masta Killa by someone who is a fan and loves his great solo work too!
Masta Killa the lyrical Ninja assassin of the Wu dope interview
Definitely under rated !!! Queen is one of my favorite songs. Ever! Peace to the 7
Mine too!!
He had the best verse on mystery of chessboxing to me
Yessir!
LOOKS LIKE THE WORK OF A MASTA!!
You better tell Jamel Irief he got fanz in SIBERIA!!
Just gave another listen to Deadly Melody from WTF disc 2. What a fuckin blast of a verse contributed by The MASTA! Mothafuckas halt, when my Colt starts stompin!

Love that verse
This was a dope interview. And I'm glad he brought up the BCC & wu because they are my two favorite hip hop groups/ clans ever!! And I know what it probably never happen but I've always wanted to get these two legendary groups to collaborate. But now I see I'm not the only one who thought about this. It would be a hip hop match made in heaven!!! ✌️To the gods 🙏
You're probably talking albums but they collaborated on at least one track.
*Clans and Cliks by Sean Price* Dope posse cut
Dying to get a bcc/wu album with verses from odb and Sean p
Masta Killa has some of the best verses in the Wu-Tang!
“ my mind spits with an enormous kick back/ your brain will absorb the impact/ disorderly conduct from the crowd is the FEEDBACK”. !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Master. Killa -Ghostace Killah-Ironman
To have recently released a collaborative track ft. Masta Killa is such a massive honour, and this showcases what an incredibly awesome dude he is!
I wanna thank masta killa for being so gracious as to converse wit us in Philly while they were fillming Bobby digital back in 96 he really dropped gems on us peace my brother ✌🏽
Such a humble guy, great interview.
30 years later, I'm still quoting this man.
MK killed that shit on assassination day. “Assassination day I stalk my enemies like prey”
Such an amazing interview. I'm sure Masta K is tough to interview. He's a man of few words. But what he speaks and how is speaks, is so influential and motivating.
Loving this interview.
Thank you both for over 30 years (and continuing on) of lifting people up with everything you do.
The impact y'all have made on the world can not be overstated.
Looks like he could be Havoc's brother
I always thought Havoc looks like Floyd Mayweather. And GZA looks like Waldo Geraldo Faldo. Inspectah Deck could be JB Smoove's twin whenever he wears sunglasses.
@@HelpMeFindTheseSongsInspector Deck and JB smooth DEFINITELY no argument at all...if he said that's his brother I wouldn't even think once about it.
Younger masta resembled ghostface
"When i break im taking everything, turning city streets to dusty roads" MK
Man Talib if you can get GZA next I’d be so happy
I came here to comment that exact same thing!!
✌🏾 to da GODS !!! This interview is legendary 💪🏾🔥🔥🔥
Great interview Brother Talib, I am a fan of the whole Wu & the affiliates, Masta Killa is that mc , who is a precise technician with the bars. A fan of you as well, your work you & Yasiin Bey crafted; was magnificent. Your solo work as well is timeless, but please brother if you can. Please interview GZA. He is not only my favorite mc within the clan, but in hip hop period; right next to Sa-Roc, MF DOOM, Asheru, Jay Elecronica, and Jean Greasy. I hope you can, if not keep doing your thing brother.
This interview is impeccable
ONE BLOOOOOOD
“My ninjas lay in ravines and ditches - underneath shrubs and leaves/ they breathe through underwater reeds/ the enemy walks above/ I remain subterraned in mud” - Masta Killa and Wu could take your mind to places you never would’ve thought about. Salute to the high chief 👐🏼
Peace to the god Jamel the high Chief MastaKillah👐🏽 S/O Talib
True master goes crazy
The high chief Jamel Irief takes the stage
Excellent Interview Talib I was super nerd’n on this one cause u touched on so much the De La part of the tour was Big for me rest in peace to Dave, also if I’m not mistaken Makeba is actually Prodigal Sunn’s sibling and on the Goodtimes skit on Masta Killa’s album he says cause I’m bad lol but this was a real good one and that New York State of mind tour was off the chain I was at the one here in Hartford CT 🤞🏾👐🏾🐝
His verse on public Enemy's Ressurection song from he got game was phenomenal!
Superb interview. Thank you.
The Best member in WU
Not close...😂😂
Love this interview especially putting what you know into practice application
Ie gza
Absolutely great interview 🙏🏿
"You are watching a master at work"
"Be like water my friend"
Masta Killa was an assassin, a poet , and they key piece to the Wu Tang Clan. On the fly he can deliver killer verses.
it makes me sad that i couldnt make a tour stop. It would have been amazing im sure.
RIP ODB !!
RIP Plug 2 !!
I just seen "Once Upon a time in America" for the first time. A bit long but well worth it.
The original version is like 4 hours, the director's cut.
But when it was released Hollywood told them to edit out over an hour, which explains a ton of things in the plot that people were confused about when they saw the theatrical version.
No Said Date was so Dope to me long awaited and not disappointed 👊
Had to check the God out!! MK IN THIS!! Also, one of the best verses ever written in HIPHOP was MK’S verse on Pete Rock’s The PJ’s.
fire interview 🔥... Talib can you please do one in depth like this with Killah Priest. I feel with your BK ties and knowledge it would be a classic just like this one thank you!!
Such a legend, i saw an interview where wu tang said he was the Rakim of the clan... you can really see that 🙏
Peace to the God!!! Indeed my favorite Clan member!!!
PEACE ‼️
Mine too 7.
Good interview.
Much needed
Masta Killa is a very underrated MC, humble, deep and very skilled. Very important part of the Wu.
This brotha is genuine and he has a good heart. He was kind enough to post my song on his Instagram page. He didn't have to do it..but he did. That's HUGE for a legend to take time out of his day to do that for me. #WuTang
“We’re still here, and we’re just gonna keep building. Everything else will take care of itself.” What a note to end on. Yea, the build was good. Peace.
he arguably had the best verse on 36 chambers (along with the CREAM verses and maybe GZA on Protect Ya Neck), one of the most underrated verses ever and ahead of its time. It sounds the freshest of any of 36 chambers verses when listened to now.
Aye mayne im a new subscriber thanks for these videos mayne these videos help spread the word about wu tang clan
Big up masta Killahhhhhh

Yooo the high school stories took me back. When you're in a high school so big you can skip class and not leave the building?? I lived that life. Going to multiple lunches. Like 4 of the lunch ladies lived in my hood. Used to tell on me to my moms all the time.
one of my absolutely favourite lines is on GZA's high price for small reward
