    But here one small tip I want to share with you. Once I tried to do the same with bay leaf, then mom said don't cut it, as it can be life threatening for someone while consuming the food & that made sense.

    Hi
    Just a suggestion, instead of adding salt during winter for dosa batter, boil water pour it in a vessal close with lid and keep batter on top of it. This will help in fermentation and also u can add salt when you use it and unsalted batter can be stored in fridge for longer use.

    • @pavitrah.b7747
      @pavitrah.b7747 3 года назад +1

      @Drlubna Azeem you can use but to make dosa generally short or medium grained rice will be used.
      Dosa texture and taste depends on rice type.

    I usually prepare my curd in a casserole or a mud pot, and get amazing results.
    For the dosa batter, I cover it with a shawl or any warm cloth. This allows me to add salt only when I need to use the batter, and the batter lasts longer. We can also add few drops of unflavored oil to make the batter last longer. ✌

      Most of the tips are unhealthy. As food becomes dead if kept like this without using for more than 3 hours
