    Hi
Just a suggestion, instead of adding salt during winter for dosa batter, boil water pour it in a vessal close with lid and keep batter on top of it. This will help in fermentation and also u can add salt when you use it and unsalted batter can be stored in fridge for longer use.

@@drlubnaazeem2661 you can use but to make dosa generally short or medium grained rice will be used.

Can you suggest on how to preserve or store coriander leaves? You have once shown how you keep it in glass or air tight containers. All I want to know is there anyway of storing the chopped coriander leaves so that one can put it directly in the dish instead of fine chopping?

I usually prepare my curd in a casserole or a mud pot, and get amazing results.
For the dosa batter, I cover it with a shawl or any warm cloth. This allows me to add salt only when I need to use the batter, and the batter lasts longer. We can also add few drops of unflavored oil to make the batter last longer. ✌
