Carlos has come such a long long way since this match. I reckon this would be a lot closer with his current form.
Great symbolic event!
Just saw him against Berretini in Vienna, he plays already top ten level now.
RafaNadal is my G.O.A.T. Another great win #VamosRafaNadal. Lots of Love❤ London
This was so emotional moments for alcaraz
Let's see what happens tomorrow at Indian Wells Masters! Carlos reminds me of Rafa at the same age :) he definitely has a big future and I suppose Nadal doesn't mind :)
Rafa has won 13 french opens since the birth of carlos, this is incredible
why is this incredible? he also won 13 FO since the birth of Djokovic and Federer :D
@@KangurPL well said, he won 13 since his own birth as well, 😂😂
2:06 Nadals backhands ..Straight back. Impeccable Posture. Impeccable form. Impeccable follow through. Power. Goddamn work horse. You can tell he is right handed
Rafa was brutal and ruthless with the young lad ! 😱 Seriously 😳! God Almighty ! I’m a Rafa fan and the young lad Carlos has 🙋♀️ himself a new fan here ! That was 😯... 🇺🇸
Que grande eres Nadal. Espero que alcaraz o cualquier otro compatriota sea capaz de seguir llevando a España a lo más alto en el tenis.
And then he comes and takes down #3 Tsitsipas at the US Open, yesterday!
It's the beginning of a future Grand Slam champion - mark my words.
That's why Nadal is the GOAT imo, regardless of what numbers say at the end of their careers. Imagine the mentality required of a 19 year old boy (almost the same age as Alcaraz now) to win a major.
Well, I have some news for you...
Alcaraz has a long way to go. He gave it his best!!
Rafa don’t hurt the young man on his birthday 🎂 ! He wasn’t in a gift-giving mood ( as if Nadal ever is). I hope Alcaraz will be okay and nothing serious. Really nice singing happy birthday and the main man Feli Lopez presenting the cake - the most strangest I ever saw - with Rafa joining in. I’m sure a birthday Carlos will never forget 😀.
Rafa gave him a breadstick instead of a bagel for his birthday 😂
@@goldwolf0606 Hey G, were you able to watch the entire match? Yeah, that was nice of Rafa 😀.
@@707ladytee no, I’ve been super busy at work. I saw the highlights and it was total destruction 😂 I was telling inter interi don’t call him baby Nadal and now people know why 😂
@@goldwolf0606 I agree! Even Coach Fererro said that's not good for him 😕.
Carlos is among the players I want to watch now.
Have today my birthday too hope the best carlo soon go the best on this sport
What a difference a year makes! : )
0:50 + 1:28 vinatge rafa. Never seizes to amaze
I know right! 😏
Al final del partido, Nadal a Alcaraz: “Muy bien”. Sabe que el chico tiene potencial pero en tierra batida contra Nadal…
He is a good young man
