Thought I’d check this video out again after all the changes from BBD over the past year crazy how every truck in this video are all gone no longer running makes me appreciate this video even more thanks for posting it Aaron! Gonna miss Allen
Haha yeah this is one video I enjoy going back to. So many changes happened like right after I made this video so it's a nice remembrance of the "old days". Thanks man lot of good memories up in Santa Clarita!
Great video love how the drivers throw trash and it lands in the other containers LOL also love that Volvo octo brings back so many memories of when I was a little boy those came to my house as regular trucks not Spares. Spares were AFE's . Cool how Santa Clarita has so many variety of trucks The first truck in the video the Mack LE The grippers were super loose and couldn't fully grip the new 32 Otto edges those things are super cool ! Anyway thanks for the video I would love a part to or is he some more of these cool trucks!
Thanks man. Yeah I remember when OC had all those Volvo Amreps. Miss those days. Haha keep an eye out for Kevin (WesternWasteManagement)'s video, he was with me for one of the trips so you'll see some footage from him.
Ahh Aaron, thank you for this honestly. It was super refreshing to see what's going on out there. I enjoy the slow changes that this yard always has with trucks as well as all the old trucks they get but sometimes I feel bad for the drivers since sometimes they aren't so reliable lol. The revving LEs kinda remind me of GI a operating style. Another fantastic WM post executed by the master. ;) Great job man. & it was also nice to see good ol Luis & Armondo.
Haha glad you like it Sean! I'm honestly really happy with how the trucks are performing out at Blue Barrel. They've fixed up a ton of trucks out there so they're running very nicely for the most part. Luis & Armando are some of the nicest guys out there, glad I got to meet them. Thanks!!!
Man i just love Santa Claritas trucks! my favorite in this video would have to be 102271! it looks great with the fresh paint! Great video too! i love the videos you post!
I must say, thank you for not including any Think Green Think Clean trucks in here - when I think of BBD, I'll always think of these LE Octos and AFEs haha. Allen was super fun to watch, especially in 101508. That truck sounded great! That 320 looks super nice with its new paint as well. Great work with this one!
Haha! I try to keep the videos as old school as possible. If there's a Think Green truck in a video, it'll have to be VERY entertaining for me to film. Yeah I love how he ran 101508! Not much more I enjoy than an old LNG Mack being revved super hard. Thanks!
Awesome Awesome compilation!! Great variety of trucks showcased in the video, and nice refresher for sure to see how their fleet has changed over the years. Allen certainly got my vote lol that guy sure ran both trucks well, doesn't miss a beat on the gas pedal either which is always nice. And wow one of their newest drivers huh, pretty impressive how he's caught onto the operation of the trucks.
Thanks!! Unfortunately the fleet is changing wayyy to quick for my liking :( Haha Allen was awesome! Yeah one of the newest but probably one of the fastest!
What can I say besides amazing video! Man it was cool to see the brother unit of the truck my yard now has 102480. That truck looks really good! Glad to see it hasn't been scrapped and is still in service! Also cool to see 102271,haven't seen that truck on RUclips since Amrep mike and solid waste entertainment filmed it. And ahh man,101334 a truck that I kinda wish my Yard has. As you may know my Yard has 101328-101333. Cool to see 334 running smooth, last saw that on waste man226's channel! Anyways cool finds bro! Man you had an all around great day filming haha!
Awesome Video bro. Can't wait to see what you found in Palmdale. And 102479 definitely is different since you last filmed it. It and 102480 where refurbished in recent years by G.I (I think) well I know u already knew that though lol. Nice work!
Thanks! Haha I wanna take another trip out to Palmdale soon, you guys have some fun trucks. I know 102480 was refurbished by GI and Sun Valley about a year ago, but not sure if GI did any work with 102479 recently. At least two years if they did do something. That truck has had that yellow arm for a very long time though. Appreciate it!
WMmaster626 No problem!! Hopefully you are able to come out here again. As I'm sure there was more you would have liked to film. There is tons of cool, and old trucks out here.
102479 was so cool. I like there was edge carts through out the video.101508 revved really hard and flipped some lids which was cool. Kinda sad that the first afe did not flip lids. Glad to see Luis flipping some lids. Still wondering what happened to the signboard on the peterbilt. Really like that G.I. Truck. LOL when that lid came down real hard. Glad to see Armando in his mack. Was that him in the volvo? Really like that recycling AFE. Great video as always.
Wow WMmaster626 your video compilation came out great! That ex LA was fun regardless of speed. There was LA green bleeding out all over that chassis in so many different places. :55-1:20 sounds so much like a LA truck. Allen's truck sounded great and he revved it so hard I was so glad to find that truck, I also like how the tailgate looks with the WM logo. Is that AFE from Baldwin Park, hopefully we see a AFE on route next time. GI sure did a great job refurbishing that Peterbilt it looks amazing. Is that fast Mackrep with the GI stripe still around somewhere? That is another great Allen video. I wish that Volvo was still around but I'm glad you recorded several clips of it. Great Blue Barrel video and I'm glad I was part of it.
Thank you! You know how much I love Mackreps so always fun finding fast or unique ones. Haha I wish it was the ex-Baldwin Park AFE but the one left is 102187. Would love to catch one! I don't know if 101334 was shipped somewhere but I'll have to check. Thanks for tagging along!
Wow Amazing Video Aaron !! Loved to see 102479 looks great and sounds pretty nice like its new paint job as well . Ahhh 101502 I had this truck as a spare and I'm really happy u got to see it holy cow he revved hard though really enjoyed when I filmed it though it was being used as a spare is it still a spare or does it have a full on route if so please give some I log the route info from these trucks id love to find these trucks for myself anyway loved that AFE but holy cow it was so dirty 😂. Wow Luis's truck looks super good ! really like how he operated please give me the route info because of really enjoy to see this truck. How u like 101334 ? Glad u found it I gotta say though do to its age and G.I looks I like it better than 101508 really like the driver as well. Was the Volvo from when u found it a while back or is this recent of course though really enjoyed to see it and yes u followed how to film bbd rule number "Always have Armondo in a video " lol 😂😂 nice to see him again. really nice AFE at the end though never filmed it before so thanks to u ima looking forward to finding it. really great video Aaron please give me some route info and thanks for making this video for me
Thanks! I think it might be a spare but not sure. Found it near Emblem Academy. Haha yeah that AFE was filthy, that was back during the rainy season. Luis was filmed up in Northpark area, I think you know one of his route areas. 101334 was pretty awesome, was super glad to catch Allen in it. I like how it looks but man I think I like 101508 better with how it sounds. Those LNG Macks are my favorites. Volvo was from 2014. Lol you've filmed that AFE before, that's Antonio. I think you've filmed him multiple times actually. Glad you enjoyed bro :-)
Awesome video! Gotta say Allen is the best BBD driver I've ever seen, and its like hes straight out of the GI Revving school lol. Surprised he flipped as many lids as he did but I guess BBD doesn't have a flipping policy like GI. I really like the way he ran 508 better than 334 for some reason. 102271 looks spectacular with the fresh coat of paint and is still running like a champ! Do you know how old that unit is? On a side note, I used to really despise the AFE's, and still do to some degree considering how slow and boring they are haha, but since they're the only ones in the county I suppose there's something special about them. I can't wait to see what else you find on this summer's adventures!
Thanks! Yeah he's definitely one of the best Amrep operators I've seen as well. No lid flipping policy luckily, not sure why some drivers slow down when I film but oh well. I saw Allen was driving 102271 a few weeks ago, that would've been so awesome to see haha I think that's a 2002 but I'll have to double check. Same for you! Looks like you're off to a good start already :)
Great vid Aaron! Really nice variety of trucks here! That Amrep at the beginning is a strange unit indeed. Could that be a former LA unit? It's LNG, right? I just uploaded a fantastic video about 20 minutes ago. Make sure to check it out! Just go to my channel and it's the first one on the list of most recent uploads. Be sure to post a comment on it too! You'll going to love the sound of the truck featured!
Well I have to say that my favorite truck, of course, was 101508 even though I don't remember them being in Fresno. Call me biased lol. But I really like his operating style especially how he used the gas even when he was out of the truck, and how he slows it down just before it reaches the top. Did 101344 have a small fire or is that just from the exhaust pipe? Another great compilation Aaron!
The Mack Amreps all look a little rough but still looks like they run pretty well. 101508 and 101334 were my favorite trucks out of the video. Great video as always! Now off topic but do you plan on visiting the Laughlin/Bullhead City area this year?
Just wondering, that's all. In case you ever come down here again I could show you the Laughlin routes and you could meet Lee and Eddie. If you want too.
Great video Aaron! I remember when I was very little watching Mike's BBD videos and now you have a compilation video with a lot of those same trucks. How long are they gonna keep the mactos and AFE's around? Also, I know you said 102271 doesn't need much explanation, but I don't know how it came to be in BBD and I was curious on that.
Thanks! Haha yeah, gotta thank Mike for introducing us all to BBD. They have a neat operation going on. I think they're slowing being replaced, probably a couple getting scrapped every year until the fleet is modernized. So 102271 is another odd truck. I can't remember when WM came to own that truck but I will look into it for you.
I got to sit in a AFE truck before i moved . What a great yard it was
Great video love how the drivers throw trash and it lands in the other containers LOL also love that Volvo octo brings back so many memories of when I was a little boy those came to my house as regular trucks not Spares. Loved the AFE and the GI Industries amrep was my favorite LOL at that lid flying off
Haha me too, really cool trucks!
Man i just love Santa Claritas trucks! my favorite in this video would have to be 102271! it looks great with the fresh paint! Great video too! i love the videos you post!
Thanks! It sure looks good!
that first truck sounded like a 2009 peterbilt 320. great vid aaron!
I must say, thank you for not including any Think Green Think Clean trucks in here - when I think of BBD, I'll always think of these LE Octos and AFEs haha. Allen was super fun to watch, especially in 101508. That truck sounded great! That 320 looks super nice with its new paint as well. Great work with this one!
mndsi I know right thank u Aaron for no think green think clean trucks ! this is why I don't film my trash driver anymore 😀
Haha! I try to keep the videos as old school as possible. If there's a Think Green truck in a video, it'll have to be VERY entertaining for me to film. Yeah I love how he ran 101508! Not much more I enjoy than an old LNG Mack being revved super hard. Thanks!
Nice. Great job catching these trucks

Nice job! Those 32 Ottos are so cool. They have them at the Portland division too but they only have green and grey, the blue looks dope af
Thanks! Yeah I love how they look haha that's cool that they have them up there. Blue sure looks sick!
What can I say besides amazing video! Man it was cool to see the brother unit of the truck my yard now has 102480. That truck looks really good! Thanks! Yeah I was hoping to catch 102480 but didn't know where it was. 101334 was running real nice, sucks it's gone now. Yup! Really fun day!
WMmaster626 no prob! And 480 is a primary so if it was in Lancaster it should have been around
Awesome Video bro. Can't wait to see what you found in Palmdale. And 102479 definitely is different since you last filmed it. It and 102480 where refurbished in recent years by G.I (I think) well I know u already knew that though lol. Nice work!

I bet that one with the green and yellow strips is an original 94 model and used to have a maroon body
Great trucks man! I miss those LE Octos. And the Peterbilt Octo looks great! I wonder if WM will ever buy Otto edges in my area.
Thanks! Haha I'll miss LE Octos when they're gone, some of my favorite trucks WM bought. That'll be really cool if they do buy them!

Just wondering, that's all. In case you ever come down here again I could show you the Laughlin routes and you could meet Lee and Eddie. If you want too.
Appreciate that offer, I'll let you know if I'm out there again.
Cool, thanks! Oh yeah and Max no longer comes down to Laughlin. Another driver, Sheldon, took over his route several months ago. He drives 1528.
They should hire me as a WM driver
