If it has the X|S logo, you're correct. If not, you can play from the external. But storing the games on there and transferring from the external is much faster than redownloading (at least for my internet speeds).
So if I buy the one that says I can use it on pc playstation and Xbox do I still have to formated and only use it on xbox or I will be available to use it on PlayStation to
Good video thanks, BUT for anyone who is wondering it doesn't work for next gen X/S games only Xbox one and 360. But I'm still gonna use this for my pc or ps4
It's still best $ wise and practical to buy these drives for cold storage. Move games you're not playing onto this drive then move series x games on and off your internal when you want to play them. Moving games takes no time. I've got 2 of these drives. Overkill really but I'll be set to not have to worry about it. Basically you just make sure you have enough space on your series x or s internal to download the games then move them when they are done unless you want to play them then etc.
@@drossampurno4742 The only one available is the Seagate NVME Drives that plugs into the back they have a 1TB ($200) and 2TB ($350-$400) but like I said in my previous replies that is just a waste of money when you can just move games on and off of a drive like this one. Get way more space and it costs much much less. All you're paying for with the Seagate nvme drives is convenience. Takes about 10 mins to move a 60gb game from this drive to the internal on Series X. So I just leave my multiplayer games on my internal as I play them daily and any single player games I want to play I move them on there beat em and move em off. Works for me anyways. Seagate just straight up robbing ppl with them nvme drives imo.
Yo no he podido hacerlo trabajar como memoria interna y ese es el video que he estado buscando. Esto parece que fuera solo para almacenar y no para jugar desde allí.
Hello good afternoon I recently bought one of those EHD (4t) but I get a message saying transfer rate is too slow & I can't play games like battlefield 2044. Any idea why I get this message? Thanks
I think it struggles with the bigger memory games that’s why the transfer rate is slow, the seagate drive you plug directly into the back of Xbox is much better but it’s a lot more expensive but this may be your better option!
I made this film a few years ago now it was okay for backing up games but not for next gen games, I use seagate plug in drive now, it’s expensive but works as you would wont it too 👍
@@mxntyxx7187 The Wd is a external drive and the seagate is a internal drive as it plugs directly into the back of the Xbox and because of that it has no slow down and performs as you would want, I’m not an expert in any way, if you want technicals details just google it you’ll read everthing you need but all I can say it’s the way to go for the best performance 👍
But is it good? Can I download any games to it? Or spicific games? Please explain as I don’t know the difference between hard drives and ssd. The Xbox game card is way too expensive for me
I’ll be honest I only had this for a short time I bought the more expensive seagate card that slots straight into the back as it works so much better but costs a lot more, I would buy the seagate card it’s definitely worth it 👍
Since I made this film I have bought the plug in seagate card and although it is more expensive it has much better all round performance and allows you to use the quick resume function as the Wd black does not, x and s games can be saved to it but keep in mind what I just said okay.
Thank you for this video, I saved my self from buying a much expensive drive. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video and very nice detailed presentation. Congratulations. This hard drive is great.
I have a 2 terabyte one but it says I can’t play games on it. Anyone know how to fix?
Very handy but even through a £10,000 AV Atmos system, top quality, very quiet soundtrack..handy information, 👍
Thank you! This helped a lot, I appreciate you!
Pretty cool that they would give you a one-month Game Pass
I heard it only holds the game but you can’t play it from there is that true?
False

Assalamualaikum (may peace be upon you) Thank you so much sir.
When you switch games over do you have to redownload to play or does it switch without having to download it again
Thank man you really helped me ALOT
Thanks man you really helped me🙏🏻💙
Very nice video thank you for this information!
Thanks hope it helped you 😀👍😀
Excellent thanks for the information
Peace family
No problem 👍
Mine isn’t working

I would guess you can but if I’m doubt check on RUclips if there is a review for that one and then you can be sure 👍
When i turn off the xbox serie s , the wd black hd light still blinking. Is this normal?
Yeah mine does that too 👍
Yes, that means its in standby mode.
@@rlly5503 How do I turn it off standby mode?
So I plugged it from the front and the back, but nothing is still happening
It sounds like a fault can you take it back to retailer??
Just the video i needed before cyber monday thanks a million Rob !!! - helped me made my purchase
Best feedback I’ve ever had, thanks a lot, enjoy your purchase 😬👍😬
Hey i was just looking into one of these is there a chance that this drive can hold and play XlS optimized games?
It was a while ago I had this but it did do that yes, check out the stats on google to make sure of all details before you buy!
It can hold them but if you tryna play, you gotta transfer but it’s lowkey quick
It is just for storage.
I love my awesome Xbox series S so much❤❤🔥🎮🎮
You can play series s or x with this drive?

Can we play the game from the HD or we have to move the game to internal drive then we can play?

Thanks.. so what external drive do we need to play game directly? WD black SSD? Or the one n only seagate SSD?

Perdon por preguntar, soy de mexico y compre la memoria, puedo jugar ahi desde la memoria o debo solo guardarlos y moverlos?
Oh puedo jugar juegos específicos?? Ayúdenme con mi pregunta

This is older model of wd black?
Does it play xbox series x titles straight from it tho? Or do you need to transfer to the hard drive
You will need to transfer them to the hardrive 👍
